Slag is a result of blast furnace combustion residues generated by the steel smelting industry that physically resemble coarse aggregate. Like other industrial by products, slag actually has many benefits and rarely become waste. This research aims to prove the influence of steel waste (slag) against the metals content of Fe, Cr, Cu, and Zn in the flesh of the shrimp vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) contained in slag and dependencies with the parameters of water quality. The results showed that the metal content of Fe, Cu, and Zn during the experiment underwent a change. The metal content of Cr contained in body and vaname shrimp in water media vaname shrimp cannot be detected because the numbers were less than the detection limit (minimum concentration which can be read by the tool) was 0.001 mg/kg. The results of statistical tests show that the heavy metal content of Fe, Cu, and Zn in vaname shrimp body is not affected by sediments of slagen
