| Abstract: | Pemanfaaan promosi untuk sebuah instansi tentunya digunakan sebagai
senjata utama dalam mendapatkan perhatian dari target pasarnya sehingga mampu
meingkatkan brand awareness. Aktivitas promosi diharuskan untuk menggunakan
komunikasi yang efektif dan bersifat persuasif guna mengajak dan memengaruhi
para konsumen. RPN Hospitality merupakan program strategis milik PT RPN yang
bertujuan untuk mengoptimalisasi aset khususnya Guest House Hevea. Program ini
menjadi urgensi dalam produksi video promosi untuk Guest House Hevea dalam
menyebarluaskan informasi mengenai Guest House Hevea sekaligus menjadi salah
satu inovasi untuk membantu mengoptimalkan aset yang dimiliki oleh PT RPN
melalui media digital.
Proyek akhir berupa video promosi RPN Hospitality bertujuan untuk
menjelaskan proses produksi video promosi RPN Hospitality, mengidentifikasi
teknik pengambilan gambar yang digunakan selama produksi, serta mengevaluasi
efektivitas video promosi terhadap peningkatan brand awareness Guest House
Hevea.
Metode pelaksanaan proyek dibagi ke dalam tiga tahapan utama, yaitu pra
produksi, produksi, dan pasca-produksi. Tahapan pra-produksi meliputi
perencanaan konsep, penulisan naskah, pembuatan storyboard, survei lokasi, dan
reading. Tahapan produksi mencakup kegiatan pengambilan gambar di berbagai
lokasi seperti Stasiun Bogor, Stasiun Manggarai, dan Guest House Hevea, dengan
menerapkan berbagai teknik pengambilan gambar. Sedangkan pada tahap pasca
produksi dilakukan proses editing, screening, revisi, dan publikasi. Teknik
pengambilan gambar mengacu pada teori The Five C’s of Cinematography oleh
Joseph V. Mascelli, yang meliputi: camera angle, continuity, cutting, close-up, dan
composition.
Laporan proyek akhir ini membahas proses produksi video promosi RPN
Hospitality yang merupakan program strategis PT Riset Perkebunan Nusantara
dalam mengoptimalkan aset perusahaan, khususnya Guest House Hevea. Produksi
video promosi ini bertujuan menyampaikan informasi dan meningkatkan brand
awareness Guest House Hevea sebagai penginapan yang kini terbuka untuk umum.
Video ini dinilai mampu meningkatkan citra perusahaan yang diperkuat oleh visual
dan narasi yang dikemas menggunakan pendekatan soft selling dan storytelling.
Hasil dari proyek berupa video promosi berdurasi enam menit 27 detik yang
diunggah pada akun media sosial Instagram @rpnhospitality. Video ini diharapkan
menjadi media komunikasi yang efektif, membantu pemasaran digital, serta
memperkuat identitas visual RPN melalui pendekatan soft selling dan storytelling.
Video promosi juga dilengkapi dengan perlindungan Hak Kekayaan Intelektual
(HKI). The use of promotions for an institution is certainly used as a key weapon in gaining the attention of its target market so that it can increase brand awareness. Promotional activities must employ effective and persuasive communication to engage and influence consumers. RPN Hospitality is a strategic program owned by PT RPN aimed at optimizing its assets, particularly the Hevea Guest House. This program is a priority for producing promotional videos for the Hevea Guest House to disseminate information about the property while also serving as an innovation to help optimize PT RPN's assets through digital media. The final project, a promotional video for RPN Hospitality, aims to explain the production process of the promotional video, identify the filming techniques used during production, and evaluate the effectiveness of the promotional video in increasing brand awareness for Guest House Hevea. The project implementation method is divided into three main stages: pre production, production, and post-production. The pre-production stage includes concept planning, scriptwriting, storyboard creation, location surveys, and readings. The production stage involves filming activities at various locations such as Bogor Station, Manggarai Station, and Guest House Hevea, applying various filming techniques. The post-production stage includes editing, screening, revisions, and publication. The filming techniques referenced the theory of The Five C’s of Cinematography by Joseph V. Mascelli, which include: camera angle, continuity, cutting, close-up, and composition. This final project report discusses the production process of the RPN Hospitality promotional video, which is a strategic program of PT Riset Perkebunan Nusantara to optimize company assets, particularly the Hevea Guest House. The production of this promotional video aims to convey information and enhance brand awareness of the Hevea Guest House as an accommodation now open to the public. The video is deemed capable of improving the company’s image, reinforced by visuals and narratives packaged using a soft-selling and storytelling approach. The project outcome is a six-minute-and-27-second promotional video uploaded to the Instagram account @rpnhospitality. This video is expected to serve as an effective communication medium, support digital marketing, and strengthen RPN's visual identity through a soft-selling and storytelling approach. The promotional video is also protected by Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). |
