dc.description.abstractPenyebaran berita hoaks di media sosial menjadi tantangan serius di era digital, terutama di Indonesia yang memiliki tingkat literasi digital yang rendah namun tingkat penggunaan media sosial yang sangat tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi yang digunakan oleh Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital Republik Indonesia (Kemkomdigi RI) dalam mengurangi penyebaran hoaks, mengukur efektivitas komunikasi yang diterapkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang didukung data kualitatif. Survei dilakukan terhadap 45 pengikut akun Instagram resmi @aduankonten.official dan wawancara Staf Ditjen Komdigi. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, wawancara, observasi, serta studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi yang melibatkan komunikator yang kredibel, pesan yang informatif, serta pemanfaatan media sosial secara intensif, efektif dalam meningkatkan aspek kognitif, afektif, dan konatif masyarakat terhadap isu hoaks. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi komunikasi Kemkomdigi RI terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi digital dan menekan penyebaran hoaks di media sosial.-
dc.description.abstractThe spread of hoaxes on social media has become a serious challenge in the digital era, particularly in Indonesia, which has a low level of digital literacy but a very high rate of social media usage. This study aims to analyze the communication strategy used by the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in reducing the spread of hoaxes, assess the effectiveness of the communication implemented. This research employs a quantitative approach supported by qualitative data. A survey was conducted with 45 followers of the official Instagram account @aduankonten.official, and interviews were held with staff from the Directorate General of Public Communication and Media of Kemkomdigi RI. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and literature review.The findings indicate that the communication strategy through the use of credible communicators, informative messages, and intensive utilization of social media has proven effective in improving the public’s cognitive, affective, and conative responses to hoax-related issues. The study concludes that the communication strategy of Kemkomdigi RI is effective in enhancing digital literacy and reducing the spread of hoaxes on social media.-
