Curly chili (Capsicum annuum L.) is an important horticultural commodity in Indonesia due to its extensive cultivation, to ensure an adequate supply, new superior varieties should be continuously developed, and mutation induction is a potential approach for the breeding and development of curly chili. This study aimed to evaluate the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of 41 genotypes of curly chili (Capsicum annuum L.) obtained through radiation. The research was conducted from February 2024 to August 2024 in greenhouse B at the Tajur I Experimental Garden, Center for Tropical Horticulture Studies, IPB, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one factor genotype. There were 41 genotype Kopay and Laris varieties, planted in three replicates, resulting in 123 experimental units. The genotypes used were Kopay and Laris varieties. The research results showed that genotype had a highly significant effect on all observed quantitative characters. There were differences in 6 out of the 12 qualitative characters. Genotypes 2.56 and 7.37 as having early harvest ages, at 70.90 Days After Planting. Correlation analysis indicated a highly significant positive correlation between plant productivity in the greenhouse with fruit weight per plant and number of fruits per plant. Potential genotypes that could be developed based on MVSI selection are 3.15, 4.21, 7.39, and 7.41.
