Persepsi Masyarakat Desa Suo Suo, Kabupaten Tebo, Provinsi Jambi Terhadap Kegiatan Restorasi Ekosistem PT Alam Bukit Tigapuluh

Abstract

PT Alam Bukit Tigapuluh (PT ABT) adalah pemegang Perizinan Berusaha Pemanfaatan Hutan (PBPH) yang berfokus kegiatan restorasi ekosistem. Persepsi menjadi penting dikarenakan untuk mengetahui bagaimana informasi atau opini yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat Desa Suo Suo terhadap kinerja PT ABT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi masyarakat Desa Suo Suo terhadap keberadaan dan pengelolaan ekosistem hutan di wilayah kerja PT ABT. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi lapang, dan studi literatur. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, keterlibatan masyarakat dalam berkegiatan restorasi ekosistem bersama PT ABT masih rendah, yaitu sebesar 17,81%. Skema Kemitraan Kehutanan bersama Kelompok Tani Hutan (KTH) Pasar Klewer diharapkan mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan masyarakat dan meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. Persepsi masyarakat terhadap PT ABT tergolong tinggi dalam aspek ekologi dan ekonomi, namun tergolong sedang pada aspek sosial.

Perception is important to know how information or opinions are held by the Suo Suo Village community towards PT ABT's performance. This study aims to analyze the perceptions of the Suo Suo Village community towards the existence and management of forest ecosystems in the PT ABT working area. Data were collected through interviews, field observations and literature studies. Data analysis was carried out descriptively. Based on the research results, community involvement in ecosystem restoration activities with PT ABT is still low, at 17.81%. The Forestry Partnership Scheme with the Pasar Klewer Forest Farmer Group (KTH) is expected to increase community involvement and improve the community's economy. Community perceptions of PT ABT are high in ecological and economic aspects, but moderate in social aspects.
