Abstract: Saat ini gua banyak dikembangkan menjadi objek wisata.
Currently, many caves are developed into tourist attractions. One of the factors driving the development of cave tourism is the aesthetic value and uniqueness of cave ornaments (speleothem). This study aims to analyse tourism development opportunities for Cibinong Cave. Data were collected through direct measurement, observation, literature study, and interviews with landowners, village government, and visitors. Tourism potential mapped through cave mapping, while the ADO-ODTWA guide is used to analyze the suitability of tourism potential with a score of 2990, which fell in to class II category. Descriptive statistics and qualitative analysis were also used to analyze the level of difficulty with a score of 7 (difficult cave exploration) and potential traceability risks in the form of included hitting cave wall, flooding, being hit by debris, guano poisoning, and being attacked by snakes. Considering the results, there was opportunity for the cave to be developed as tourism destination. However, its development should be directed to special interest tourism, taking into account visitors safety, resources sustainability, and the community’s welfare.
