The javan leopard (Panthera pardus melas Cuvier 1809) is a top predator in Java whose population is threatened due to fragmentation and habitat loss. One of its habitats is Mount Ciremai National Park. This study aims to estimate the demographic parameters of the Javan leopard population and analyse its habitat. Data were collected through vegetation cover, line transects, camera traps, and observation of animal activity signs. Results showed the minimum of suspected Javan leopard individuals was three with a population density of 6 individuals/100 km², a sex ratio is 2:1, and an age structure is 0:0:3 (infant:juvenile:adult). The potential preys were identified as 14 species of mammals and seven species of birds. The preferred prey of the Javan leopard is Muntiacus muntjak. Javan leopards prefer forest cover with dense understorey and medium density trees. Habitat disturbance found were human activities such as hunting, forest encroachment, and outdoor activities.-
