Kakao (Theobroma cacao L.) Pada Perbedaan Tanaman Penaung di Kebun
Kendenglembu PTPN XII. Dibimbing oleh MUHAMMAD IQBAL
NURULHAQ.
Kakao (Theobroma cacao L.) memiliki peran vital dalam ekonomi
Indonesia, namun luas areal perkebunan mengalami penurunan dari 2020 hingga
Kendenglembu PTPN XII, tanaman penaung seperti lamtoro (Leucaena sp.) and
hara tanah. MUHAMMAD ANAS FADLOLI. Comparison of Cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) Production Estimates Based on Different Shade Plants in Kendenglembu Plantation PTPN XII. Supervised by MUHAMMAD IQBAL NURULHAQ. Cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) plays a vital role in Indonesia's economy, but the area of cocoa plantations has decreased from 2020 to 2022. Optimizing cocoa productivity can be achieved through the use of shade plants that regulate microclimate conditions. This study aims to evaluate effective shade plant management and assess the production potential of cocoa with various types of shade plants. In Kendenglembu plantation PTPN XII, shade plants such as lamtoro(Leucaena sp.) and coconut(Cocos nucifera) influence light intensity and soil moisture, which affect cocoa production. The research findings indicate that the right combination of shade plants can enhance cocoa production, with 54% light intensity yielding the highest results. It is recommended to improve shade plant management and continue research to better understand pest and disease attacks, as well as soil nutrient content. |
