The forestry sector plays an important role in mitigating climate change resulting from global warming. Vegetation in forests has the ability to absorb CO2 through the photosynthesis process and store it in the form of biomass, so it can reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere. Greenhouse gas emission absorption activities have been carried out by the mining company PT Star Energy Geothermal Salak through revegetation. This research aims to identify potential carbon reserves on Star Energy revegetation land and analyze the amount of CO2 absorbed. Data analysis was carried out by vegetation analysis to estimate biomass using allometric equations. The research results show that the potential carbon reserves on Star Energy's revegetation land, which is located in 2 different locations, namely Pasir Bendil and Mount Kendeng, is 40,92 tonnes/ha and 33,23 tonnes/ha. This difference is caused by differences in planting time so that the density and diameter of the stands are definitely different. The total carbon dioxide absorption at the Pasir Bendil location is 7.509,56 tons, while the total carbon dioxide absorption at the Mount Kendeng location is 6.097,62 tons.
