Abstract: Desa Wisata Nglanggeran terletak di Yogyakarta. Desa Nglanggeran memiliki kawasan wisata di mana terdapat beragam tumbuhan dan satwa. Perlu diketahui upaya dan peran masyarakat dalam pemberdayaan lingkungan biotik, yang meliputi tumbuhan dan satwa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi tumbuhan dan satwa sebelum dan setelah adanya wisata, menganalisis persepsi masyarakat terhadap pemberdayaan lingkungan biotik, dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi persepsi masyarakat. Pengumpulan data meliputi observasi lapang, penyebaran kuesioner, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Analisis data kualitatif menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis tematik, sedangkan analisis data kuantitatif melibatkan analisis frekuensi, tabulasi silang, dan chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jenis tumbuhan dan satwa meningkat karena adanya wisata, wisata dapat memengaruhi masyarakat menjadi lebih berdaya, dan faktor-faktor diantaranya keterlibatan, objek wisata, dan interaksi.
Nglanggeran Tourism Village is located in Yogyakarta. The Nglanggeran Village has a tourism area where there are various types of plants and wildlife. It is important to understand the efforts and roles of the community in the empowerment of the biological environment, which includes plants and wildlife. The aim of this research is to identify the plants and wildlife before and after the establishment of tourism, to analyze the community’s perception of biological environmental empowerment, and to analyze the factors influencing the community’s perceptions. Data collection methods include field observations, distributing questionnaires, interviews, and literature studies. Qualitative data analysis uses descriptive qualitative methods and thematic analysis, while quantitative data analysis involves frequency analysis, cross-tabulation, and chi square tests. The research findings indicate that the types of plants and wildlife have increased due to tourism, tourism can influence the community to become more empowered, and factors affecting this include involvement, tourist attractions, and interactions.
