| Abstract: | Lobster air tawar red claw Cherax quadricarinatus merupakan salah satu hewan krustase yang dapat dikonsumsi dan mempunyai prospek yang cerah dalam sektor perikanan. Tujuan dari magang khusus ini yaitu untuk mengkaji beberapa aspek reproduksi lobster air tawar red claw meliputi pemijahan, penetasan telur, dan embriogenesis telur lobster air tawar. Hasil dari magang khusus ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat sebagai data dasar reproduksi dan mengetahui teknik pemijahan bagi para pelaku usaha budidaya lobster air tawar. Metode pada magang khusus ini yaitu persiapan wadah induk lobster air tawar, persiapan wadah penetasan telur, pemeliharaan dan pemijahan induk, penetasan telur. Praktik lapang dari magang khusus ini berlangsung selama 3 bulan. Hasil magang khusus ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa lobster air tawar jenis red claw dapat dipijahkan dan dipelihara dengan mudah pada kondisi lingkungan beriklim tropis, dengan demikian pembudidayaan jenis lobster air tawar red claw di Indonesia memiliki prospek yang cukup baik. Red claw crayfish Cherax quadricarinatus is one of the crustacean animals that can be consumed and has bright prospects in the fisheries sector. The purpose of this special internship is to examine several aspects of red claw crayfish reproduction including spawning, egg hatching, and embryogenesis of crayfish eggs. The results of this special internship are expected to be useful as basic data on reproduction and know spawning techniques for crayfish cultivation business actors. The methods in this special internship are preparation of crayfish broodstock containers, preparation of egg hatching containers, broodstock rearing and spawning, egg hatching. The field practice of this special internship lasted for 3 months. The results of this particular internship can be concluded that red claw crayfish can be spawned and maintained easily in tropical environmental conditions, thus the cultivation of red claw crayfish species in Indonesia has quite good prospects. |
