Abstract: | Masyarakat Indonesia memiliki skor kesehatan finansial mencapai 41,16% di tahun 2023. Faktor penentu dalam kesehatan finansial yaitu financial safety dan financial growth. Hal tersebut sejalan dengan penyebab meningkatnya generasi sandwich di Indonesia yaitu tidak terciptanya financial freedom. Sebanyak 51% generasi muda merupakan generasi sandwich. Peningkatan juga terjadi pada kepemilikan asuransi jiwa sebesar 30,4% per 2022. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi tingkat dan pengaruh financial literacy, personal financial planning serta pendapatan terhadap minat beli asuransi jiwa pada generasi sandwich. Data yang digunakan merupakan data primer dan sekunder dengan metode analisis SEM-PLS yang dilaksanakan pada Maret - Mei 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa personal financial planning berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minat beli asuransi jiwa, sedangkan financial literacy dan pendapatan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minat beli asuransi jiwa. The Indonesian society has achieved a financial health score of 41.16% in 2023. Determining factors in financial health include financial safety and financial growth. This correlates with the increasing prevalence of the sandwich generation in Indonesia, attributed to the lack of financial freedom. 51% of the younger generation are part of the sandwich generation. There has also been a 30.4% increase in life insurance ownership as of 2022. The objective of this research is to identify the levels and influence of financial literacy, personal financial planning, and income scale on life insurance interest among the sandwich generation. The study utilizes primary and secondary data analyzed using the SEM-PLS method conducted between March May 2024. The research findings indicate that personal financial planning significantly influences life insurance interest, whereas financial literacy and income do not significantly impact life insurance interest. |
