| Abstract: | Keberagaman wilayah geografis dapat mempengaruhi produktivitas
tanaman lokal.
Meskipun demikian, simplisia asal Padang Aro menghasilkan rendemen paling
Geographic diversity can influence local crop productivity. This research aims to identify the effect of growth location and type of solvent used in the extraction of cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmannii) bark grew in Jambi, Padang Aro and Bogor on total flavonoids examinated by colorimetric method with AlCl3 reagent and their FRAP antioxidant activity. Etanol 70% extract from maseration of cinnamon bark growth in Padang Aro showed the highest results compared to other samples in total flavonoids and antioxidant activity measurement, 22,01 mgQE/g and 4408,55 µmolTE/g. Otherwise, simplicia from Padang Aro produced the lowest yield compared to other samples for all types of solvents: 14,73% in ethanol extract and 6,89% in water extract. According to the result of Pearson correlation test, the amount of flavonoids are not significantly correlated with FRAP method antioxidant activity (R= 0,79; CI = - 0,05—0,97). |
