Abstract: Pengetahuan gizi ibu merupakan salah satu hal penting dalam perbaikan gizi ibu, anak, dan masyarakat karena ibu berperan utama sebagai pengasuh dan sumber informasi gizi dan kesehatan bagi anggota keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh edukasi gizi terhadap pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi seimbang dan isi piringku. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-test post-test intervention menggunakan data sekunder program Gerakan Edukasi Gizi dan Makan Bubur Bergizi (GEMA BUGIZI). Jumlah total subjek yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi penelitian sebanyak 542 ibu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa edukasi gizi yang dilakukan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan skor pengetahuan gizi seimbang, isi piringku, serta skor total gizi seimbang dan isi piringku. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa edukasi gizi yang dilakukan pada kegiatan “GEMA BUGIZI” berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi ibu.
Mother’s nutritional knowledge is one of the important things in improving the nutrition of mothers, children, and society because mothers play a major role as caregivers and sources of nutrition and health information for family members. This study aims to analyze the effect of nutrition education on mother’s knowledge about balanced diet and my plate. This research applies a quantitative approach with a pre-test post-test intervention design using secondary data from the Nutrition Education Movement and Eating Nutritious Porridge (GEMA BUGIZI) program. The total number of subjects who met the research inclusion criteria was 542 mothers. The results of the study showed that the nutrition education carried out had a significant effect on increasing the knowledge score of balanced diet, my plate, as well as the total score of balanced diet and my plate.
