Abstract: | Kegiatan utama pembukaan wilayah hutan adalah pembuatan dan
pemeliharaan jalan yang didalamnya memerlukan perencanaan yang tepat sehingga
mampu menjamin kelancaran pengelolaan hutan khususnya pemanenan. Penelitian
ini dilakukan di RPH Wungu, BKPH Dungus, Perum Perhutani KPH Madiun Jawa
Timur yang merupakan kelas perusahaan kayu jati. Karakteristik jaringan jalan
angkutan pada RPH Wungu digambarkan oleh beberapa parameter PWH yaitu
kerapatan jalan (WD), spasi jalan (WA), jarak sarad rata-rata secara teoritis (REo),
jarak sarad rata-rata terpendek di lapangan (REm), jarak rata-rata sebenarnya di
lapangan (REt), kerapatan jalan optimal (Dopt) dan persen pembukaan wilayah (E
%), yang besaran nilainya bergantung dari panjang jalan yang dibuat dan luas
wilayah hutan. Hasil perhitungan karakteristik jaringan jalan pada PWH
mempunyai kerapatan jalan (WD) = 21,61 m ha־ˡ, spasi jalan (WA) = 462,74 m,
jarak sarad rata-rata teoritis (REo) = 115,68 m, jarak sarad rata-rata sebenarnya di
lapangan (REt) = 195,92 m, jarak sarad rata-rata terpendek (REm) = 134,19 m, tebal
lapisan pengerasan jalan minimal = 13,07 cm, persen pembukaan wilayah hutan (E
%) = 86,7 %, dan kerapatan jalan optimal (Dopt) = 20,67 m ha־ˡ. Secara umum
jaringan jalan hutan pada PWH tingkat RPH sudah dapat melayani kegiatan
pengelolaan hutan terutama kegiatan pemanenan. The main activity of forest opening is a building and maintaining road needed to ensure forest mangement especially for forest harvesting activites. The research is conducted in RPH Wungu, BKPH Dungus, KPH Madiun, Perum Perhutani Regional Division East Java which is forest plantation for producing teakwood. The harvesting road in RPH Wungu is depicted by some parameters forest opening which aare road density (WD), road spacing (WA), the skid distance theoretical average (REo), the shortest average skid distance (REm), the average skid distance (REt), optimum road density (Dopt) and percent clearing forest area (E %) which is the value depends on road lenght built and forest area. The calculation result of the transportation road network characteristics in forest opening is road density (WD) = 21,61 m ha־ˡ , road spacing (WA) = 462,74 m, the skid distance theorical average (REo) = 115,68 m, the average skid distance (REt) = 195,92 m, the shortest average skid distance (REm) = 134,19 m, thickness road pavement = 13,07 cm, percent clearing forest area (E %) = 86,7 % , and optimum road density (Dopt) = 20,67 m ha־ˡ. To sum up, forest road system in forest opening for compartement sample has accomodated all forest management activities mainly for forest harvesting activities |
