dc.description.abstractFrench bean is a vegetable comodition that people seek to supply market demand with high quality standard. The objective of this research is to identify the risk sources, the risk probability, the risk impact and handling strategy alternative that can be done to handle the risk production of French bean cultivation in Raja Buncis Firm. Results of risk sources identification are the risk sources of pests, disease and labor skill. The risk source of disease showed the highest point of probability which is 44.8%, as of the use of the z-score method. The biggest risk impact also caused by disease which is Rp. 5.283.132,388, as of the use of value at risk method or VaR. Every risk sources needs attention; most attention are given to the risk source of pests. The alternative of handling strategy for the risk source of pests and labor skill is preventive handling strategy while for the risk source of disease mitigation handling strategy prefrerreden
