Gaya Hidup, Motivasi, dan Alokasi Waktu Keluarga Usia Pensiun
Abstract
The research is intended to analyze the influence of lifestyle and motivation on time allocation of retired age individuals. The samples in this study were 154 individuals aged 55 years and above who were selected purposively in Kota Bogor (urban area) and Kabupaten Bogor (rural area). Data were collected by interviews using questionnaires. The results showed that there is no difference sample characteristics between those who lives in urban and rural areas. More than half of retirees tend to have motivation at medium level (95.5%). The samples are categorized into three group of lifestyle, i. e., socially oriented (40.9%), economically oriented (48.1%), and personal oriented (11.0%). The average time spent to income generated activities is 1.8 hours/day, to household work is 3.2 hours/day, and to personal activities is 19.0 hours/day. Another finding indicates thas variables of occupation, residence, number of family dependents, age, income, economy-oriented lifestyle, and motivation have influenced the time allocation pattern.
