A total of 119 local ewe which consist of 18, 76 and 25 garut sheep, thintailed sheep and fat-tailed sheep was used to evaluate the characteristics of carcass and non carcass at slaughterhouse in Maleber Bogor. The data were analyzed using Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA), with slaughter weight as a covariable. The results showed that slaughter weight, carcass weight, empty body weight and carcass percentage among these breeds were no significantly different (P>0.05). There were no significantly differences among breeds in the weights of non carcass components, except kidney and shank. There were no significantly among breeds differences in percentage of non carcass components, except kidney percentage. In general, the garut sheep, thin-tailed and fat-tailed slaughtered at weight 20.46 kg, 15.73 kg and 15.98 kg had carcass percentages of 47.14%, 46.61% and 47.65%, and non carcass percentages of 33.56%, 32.73% and 33.32% respectively
