dc.description.abstractMule duck is easy to get stress that started in 3-4 week of age. One solution to solve this condition is giving an anti stress. The anti stress that more used in poultry is vitamin C (ascorbic acid). If it trough, stress condition can disturb poultry metabolism to change feed to be meat, especially for vitamin C synthesis can decrease even though poultry can synthesis vitamin C in its body. This research was done in Field Laboratory of Poultry Production Science, Faculty of Animal Science, Bogor Agricultural University at September 20 until November 22, 2002. Sixty mule ducks were used from four until 10 weeks of age in this research. This research used Completely Randomized Design that consists of three treatment levels of vitamin C supplementation (0, 500 and 1000 ppm) in basal diet. In every treatment levels consist of four replications and every replication consist of five heads mule duck. This research used broiler finisher commercial feed and used phannacologic vitamin C in powder fonn with minimum accuracy grade 98%.id
