dc.description.abstractPenggunaan hidrokarbon minyak bumi yang berlebihan menyebabkan pencemaran tanah, dan bioremediasi dengan bulking agent adalah salah satu solusi efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung konsentrasi Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH), menentukan efektivitas bulking agent, serta menganalisis dampak kesalahan metode terhadap akurasi dan presisi data. Metode yang digunakan melibatkan tanah terkontaminasi dengan 10% limbah oli bekas, 1% bakteri Bacillus sp., dan 1% bulking agent. Namun, terdapat kesalahan metode, seperti ketidakseimbangan antara jumlah bahan pencemar dan bakteri, yang dapat mempengaruhi kondisi lingkungan yang optimal untuk proses bioremediasi, seperti kelembapan dan ketersediaan oksigen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penurunan kadar TPH selama 28 hari pada semua perlakuan, dengan variasi efektivitas tergantung kombinasi bulking agent dan Bacillus sp.. Sekam padi mencapai efisiensi degradasi tertinggi (33,17%), sementara serabut buah bintaro hanya mencapai 23,18%. Sekam padi terbukti lebih efektif dalam membantu biodegradasi. Namun, karena kesalahan metode, hasil ini perlu diinterpretasikan dengan hati-hati, karena dapat memengaruhi akurasi dan relevansi penelitian di masa mendatang.
dc.description.abstractThe use of petroleum hydrocarbons causes soil pollution, and bioremediation with bulking agents is one of the effective solutions. This study aims to calculate the concentration of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH), determine the effectiveness of bulking agents, and analyze the impact of method error on data accuracy and precision. The method used involved contaminated soil with 10% used oil waste, 1% Bacillus sp. bacteria, and 1% bulking agent. However, there are method errors, such as an imbalance between the amount of contaminants and bacteria, which can affect the optimal environmental conditions for the bioremediation process, such as moisture and oxygen availability. The results showed a decrease in TPH levels over 28 days in all treatments, with variations in effectiveness depending on the combination of bulking agent and Bacillus sp.. Rice husk achieved the highest degradation efficiency (33.17%), while bintaro fruit fibers only reached 23.18%. Rice husk proved to be more effective in assisting biodegradation. However, due to method errors, these results need to be interpreted with caution, as they may affect the accuracy and relevance of future studies.
