memiliki kemampuan cukup tinggi dalam mengembangkan resistensi terhadap insektisida.&#13;
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis profil aktivitas enzim Asetilkolinesterase (AChE), Glutation&#13;
S-transferase (GST), dan Sitokrom P450 pada larva S. exigua asal Bandung. Sampel larva&#13;
dihomogenisasi menggunakan buffer fosfat kemudian supernatan digunakan sebagai ekstrak enzim&#13;
kasar untuk pengukuran aktivitas enzim secara spektrofotometri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan&#13;
bahwa aktivitas AChE sebesar 0,0061 U/mL, GST sebesar 3,2188 U/mL, dan Sitokrom P450 sebesar&#13;
0,3679 U/mL. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa mekanisme detoksifikasi metabolik,&#13;
khususnya melalui GST dan Sitokrom P450 diduga lebih dominan pada populasi S. exigua asal&#13;
Bandung. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi data awal dalam kajian resistensi insektisida dan mendukung&#13;
penyusunan strategi pengendalian hama yang efektif dan berkelanjutan.

<title>Pengujian Akurasi Aplikasi Bioleaf Dalam Menentukan Luas Serangan Hama Pemakan Daun</title>
<link>http://repository.ipb.ac.id/handle/123456789/173630</link>
<description>Pengujian Akurasi Aplikasi Bioleaf Dalam Menentukan Luas Serangan Hama Pemakan Daun
Istiaji, Bonjok; Subandi, Moch. Ramdani
Pest attacks on plant leaves significantly reduce agricultural productivity, as leaves are vital for photosynthesis and serve as early indicators of physiological damage. Therefore, measuring leaf damage is essential for assessing plant health and the effectiveness of pest control. Conventional methods such as millimeter paper, gravimetry, and planimetry are often impractical and prone to error, especially with large sample sizes, while Leaf Area Meter (LAM) are limited by high costs. BioLeaf, a smartphone-based application, offers a practical, efficient, and user-friendly digital solution for measuring leaf damage. This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy of BioLeaf in determining pest damage on leaves, conducted in Kampung Carang Pulang, Cikarawang Village, Dramaga District, Bogor Regency, and at the Plant Clinic Laboratory, Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, IPB University. Fourteen leaf samples with varying types and levels of damage were analyzed using five treatments and three devices (a camera, smartphone 1, and smartphone 2). Measurements from BioLeaf were compared to manual methods and ImageJ software to assess accuracy. The results showed that BioLeaf has high accuracy and can serve as a practical and efficient alternative for monitoring leaf damage in the field, providing benefits for both farmers and researchers.

<title>Penyakit Layu Ubi Jalar (Ipomoea batatas) di Kabupaten Kuningan: Penyebab dan Hubungannya dengan Teknik Budidaya</title>

<description>Penyakit Layu Ubi Jalar (Ipomoea batatas) di Kabupaten Kuningan: Penyebab dan Hubungannya dengan Teknik Budidaya; Sweet Potato Wilt Disease (Ipomoea batatas) in Kuningan Regency: Causal Agent and Its Relationship with Cultural Practices
Imani, Affan Tegar; Widodo
Sweet potatoes have great potential as an alternative food crop. However, the&#13;
presence of poorly managed plant pests poses a significant threat to their&#13;
cultivation. Recently, this also appeared in sweet potato areas in Kuningan&#13;
Regency, West Java Province. This study aims to determine the causes of wilt&#13;
disease in sweet potatoes and the effect of cultural practices on disease incidence.&#13;
Data was obtained through observing symptoms in the field, calculating disease&#13;
incidence and conducting interviews with farmers whose disease conditions were&#13;
observed. Interviews with farmers were conducted using a structured questionnaire&#13;
covering cultivation techniques, plant health problems faced, and pest and disease&#13;
management practices. Meanwhile, the samples were observed using a compound&#13;
microscope and a stereo microscope in the laboratory to be identified based on&#13;
morphological characteristics and symptoms in the field. The field data obtained&#13;
were tabulated with Microsoft Office Excel 2010 and analyzed descriptively. The&#13;
observations result showed symptoms of wilting caused by the pathogen&#13;
Ceratocystis fimbriata with the highest incidence of 27.4% and the lowest 0%. The&#13;
diversity of insect pests was obtained by observing the land along with observing&#13;
the incidence of disease. Some of sweet potato cultural practices and handling of&#13;
diseased plants were related to the incidence of wilt disease. The use of cv Melati,&#13;
sufficient N, P, K fertilization, and crop rotation tended to lower disease incidence.&#13;
Meanwhile, plantation with intensified weeding showed higher disease incidence.

<description>Faktor-Faktor Budi Daya dan Lingkungan yang Memengaruhi Penyakit Blas Padi di Kecamatan Cidahu, Kabupaten Sukabumi Cultural Practices and; Environmental Factors that Affecting Rice Blast Disease in Cidahu District, Sukabumi Regency
Bakti, Muhammad; Istiaji, Bonjok; Widodo
Blast disease is one of the most devastated plant pathogens that can cause yield&#13;
loss in rice. Blast disease is caused by the fungus Pyricularia oryzae (teleomorph:&#13;
Magnaporthe oryzae). This study aims to determine the cultivation techniques practiced&#13;
by farmers and their relationship with the severity of blast disease in rice plants. The&#13;
study was conducted using two methods, namely structured interviews with 60&#13;
respondents and direct observation of blast disease severity in the field.Obtained data&#13;
was then processed using Microsoft excel 2019 and the χ2 (Chi-square) test was&#13;
conducted to see the relationship between the Cultivation and Environmental Factors&#13;
that Affect the Rate of Blast Disease at the α = 5% level. The highest average disease&#13;
severity occurred in Babakan Pari village with a severity of 24.95% and the lowest&#13;
severity in Pondok Kaso Tengah village 13.03%. Sufficient of P and K fertilization, no&#13;
water stress, the use of certified seeds, and full return of straw tended to reduce blast&#13;
disease severity. Meanwhile, the use of herbicides in weed management shows a higher&#13;
level of disease severity compared to only mechanical methods.
