The proposed project addresses two linked regional challenges: the increasing burden on the Kebon&#13;
Kongok regional landfill and the continuing demand for diesel fuel in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).&#13;
The source study reports that Kebon Kongok receives approximately 300-320 tons of waste per day&#13;
and is approaching the end of its operational life. The proposed plant would divert 120 tons per&#13;
day, equivalent to roughly 37.5-40.0 percent of the current daily inflow, and convert selected waste&#13;

The riparian zone is a transitional area between terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems located along the banks of rivers, lakes, and other water bodies. Ecologically, this zone is characterized by fluctuating water levels, dominance of hydrophytic vegetation, and high biodiversity resulting from gradients in soil moisture and nutrients that are unique to this environment.&#13;
This area plays a critical role in:&#13;

Maintaining water quality by filtering sediments, nutrients, and pollutants before they enter water bodies&#13;

Controlling riverbank erosion through vegetation root systems&#13;

<title>Gout and Uremia Syndrome in Captive Komodo Dragons (Varanus komodoensis): A Case Report</title>

Visceral gout is an important consequence of chronic renal disease in reptiles but has rarely been documented in the endangered Komodo dragon (Varanus komodoensis). This report describes the gross and histopathological findings of generalized visceral gout in a 10-year-old captive female Komodo dragon that died following progressive anorexia and weakness. Complete necropsy revealed extensive white chalky deposits on the kidneys, pericardium, lungs, gastrointestinal tract, and ovaries. Representative tissue samples from the heart, lungs, stomach, intestines, liver, kidneys, spleen, and ovaries were examined histologically using hematoxylin and eosin, Periodic acid-Schiff, and methenamine silver stains. Microscopic examination demonstrated severe chronic granulomatous urate nephropathy characterized by diffuse interstitial fibrosis, glomerular atrophy, tubular degeneration and necrosis, and extensive intratubular urate deposition. Additional lesions included granulomatous urate pericarditis with myocardial degeneration and necrosis, pulmonary congestion, hemorrhage, emphysema, metastatic mineralization, ulcerative hemorrhagic gastritis with intralesional candidiasis, granulomatous splenitis, and hemorrhagic oophoritis. The distribution and severity of lesions indicate that chronic renal failure resulted in persistent hyperuricemia, systemic urate crystal deposition, and multisystemic uremic syndrome. This case expands the limited pathological literature on naturally occurring visceral gout in V. komodoensis and emphasizes the importance of early recognition of renal disease and husbandry-related risk factors in the health management of captive Komodo dragons.

Gizi balita merupakan salah satu determinan utama kualitas sumber daya manusia di&#13;
masa mendatang. Periode balita, khususnya 1.000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan (HPK), merupakan&#13;
fase kritis yang sangat menentukan pertumbuhan fisik, perkembangan kognitif, serta status&#13;
kesehatan anak hingga dewasa. Kekurangan gizi pada masa ini dapat menimbulkan dampak&#13;
jangka panjang yang bersifat permanen, seperti stunting, penurunan kecerdasan, meningkatnya&#13;
risiko penyakit tidak menular, serta menurunnya produktivitas ekonomi di masa dewasa (Black&#13;
et al. 2013; WHO 2020).&#13;
Di Indonesia, permasalahan gizi balita masih menjadi tantangan kesehatan masyarakat&#13;
yang serius. Hasil Riset Kesehatan Dasar (Riskesdas) dan Survei Status Gizi Indonesia (SSGI)&#13;
menunjukkan bahwa prevalensi stunting, wasting, dan underweight pada balita masih relatif&#13;
tinggi, meskipun telah mengalami penurunan dalam beberapa tahun terakhir (Kemenkes RI&#13;
2018; Kemenkes RI 2022). Kondisi ini mengindikasikan bahwa upaya perbaikan gizi balita&#13;
belum sepenuhnya optimal dan masih memerlukan pendekatan yang komprehensif, baik dari&#13;
aspek ketersediaan pangan, akses layanan kesehatan, maupun perilaku pengasuhan dan&#13;
pemberian makan anak.&#13;
Salah satu faktor penting yang memengaruhi status gizi balita adalah kecukupan&#13;
konsumsi protein dan zat gizi esensial lainnya. Pada masa pertumbuhan, balita membutuhkan&#13;
asupan protein berkualitas tinggi untuk mendukung pembentukan jaringan tubuh, pertumbuhan&#13;
linear, serta perkembangan fungsi kognitif. Selain protein, zat gizi mikro seperti zat besi, seng,&#13;
vitamin B12, vitamin A, dan kolin juga berperan penting dalam mendukung pertumbuhan dan&#13;
perkembangan anak secara optimal. Kekurangan zat gizi tersebut dalam jangka panjang dapat&#13;
meningkatkan risiko terjadinya gangguan pertumbuhan dan masalah gizi lainnya (Dewey dan&#13;
Adu-Afarwuah 2008). ...
