Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh media tanam tandan kosong kelapa&#13;
sawit dan durasi perendaman air kelapa terhadap pertumbuhan bibit M. bracteata.&#13;
Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Oktober-November 2025 di PT Bumi Permai Lestari,&#13;
Bukit Intan Estate, Bangka Barat menggunakan Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap&#13;
Teracak (RKLT) faktorial dua faktor. Faktor pertama yaitu media tanam terdiri atas&#13;
M1 (100% tanah), M2 (3:1), M3 (1:1), M4 (1:3), dan M5 (100% tandan kosong).&#13;
Faktor kedua yaitu durasi perendaman terdiri atas R1 (air bersih 10 menit), R2 (2&#13;
jam), R3 (4 jam), R4 (6 jam), dan R5 (8 jam). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa&#13;
media tanam tandan kosong tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan&#13;
tanaman. Durasi perendaman air kelapa berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi&#13;
tanaman pada fase awal pertumbuhan dengan perlakuan terbaik R2 (2 jam).&#13;
Interaksi media tanam dan durasi perendaman berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi&#13;
tanaman dengan perlakuan terbaik M1R3 yang menghasilkan tinggi tanaman&#13;
tertinggi sebesar 26,33 cm pada 6 MST.&#13;

The objective of study were to determine the effect of empty fruit bunch&#13;
planting media and coconut water soaking duration on the growth of M. bracteata&#13;
seedlings. The research was conducted from October to November 2025 at PT Bumi&#13;
Permai Lestari, Bukit Intan Estate, West Bangka using a factorial Randomized&#13;
Complete Block Design (RCBD). The first factor was planting media consisting of&#13;
M1 (100% soil), M2 (3:1), M3 (1:1), M4 (1:3), and M5 (100% empty fruit bunches).&#13;
The second factor was soaking duration consisting of R1 (clean water for 10&#13;
minutes), R2 (2 hours), R3 (4 hours), R4 (6 hours), and R5 (8 hours). The results&#13;
showed that empty fruit bunch planting media had no significant effect on plant&#13;
growth. Coconut water soaking duration had a highly significant effect on plant&#13;
height during early growth, with the best treatment obtained at R2 (2 hours). The&#13;
interaction between planting media and soaking duration significantly affected&#13;
plant height, with the best treatment combination obtained at M1R3, producing the&#13;
highest plant height of 26.33 cm at 6 weeks after planting.&#13;

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efikasi kombinasi herbisida triklopir, amonium glufosinat, dan metil metsulfuron dalam mengendalikan volunteer oil palm seedlings (VOPS) berukuran 50-70 cm dan 70-120 cm di PT Agrolestari Mandiri Region Ketapang 1, Kayung Estate. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada November sampai Desember 2025 menggunakan Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT) faktor tunggal yang terdiri atas lima perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi persentase kematian, perubahan tinggi, gejala keracunan, hari muncul gejala keracunan, dan fitotoksisitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan herbisida berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap seluruh parameter pengamatan. Perlakuan P3 (triklopir 3,2 ml/l + amonium glufosinat 4,0 g/l + metil metsulfuron 0,8 g/l + PMT 0,5 ml/l) memberikan hasil terbaik dengan persentase kematian sebesar 86,00% pada VOPS 50-70 cm dan 72,33% pada VOPS 70-120 cm pada 4 MSA. Perlakuan tersebut juga menghasilkan gejala keracunan tertinggi serta penekanan pertumbuhan terbesar dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Seluruh perlakuan tidak menimbulkan gejala fitotoksisitas pada tanaman kelapa sawit utama.; This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of a herbicide combination consisting of triclopyr, ammonium glufosinate, and metsulfuron-methyl in controlling volunteer oil palm seedlings (VOPS) measuring 50-70 cm and 70-120 cm at PT Agrolestari Mandiri Region Ketapang 1, Kayung Estate. The study was conducted from November to December 2025 using a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with five treatments and three replications. Parameters observed were mortality percentage, growth suppression, injury symptoms, time to symptom appearance, and phytotoxicity on the main oil palm crop. Herbicide treatments significantly affected all observed parameters. Treatment P3 (triclopyr 3,2 ml/l + ammonium glufosinate 4,0 g/l + metsulfuron-methyl 0,8 g/l + PMT 0,5 ml/l) provided the best control, resulting in mortality rates of 86,00% for VOPS measuring 50-70 cm and 72,33% for VOPS measuring 70-120 cm at 4 weeks after application. This treatment gave the most noticeable response and reduced plant growth the most. No phytotoxicity symptoms were observed on the main oil palm plants.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian mulsa cangkang kelapa sawit terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit pada tahap pembibitan main nursery. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama dua bulan di pembibitan kelapa sawit Desa Tandikek, Sumatera Utara. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan satu faktor, yaitu dosis mulsa cangkang kelapa sawit yang terdiri atas tiga taraf, yaitu 0 g, 250 g, dan 500 g per polybag dengan empat ulangan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi pertambahan tinggi bibit, diameter batang, jumlah daun, dan berat gulma. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji ANOVA atau uji Kruskal–Wallis pada taraf nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian mulsa cangkang kelapa sawit berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit dan penekanan gulma. Perlakuan dosis mulsa 500 g per polybag memberikan hasil terbaik dengan rata-rata pertambahan tinggi bibit sebesar 21,8 cm, diameter batang 14,1 mm, jumlah daun 5,2 helai, serta berat gulma terendah sebesar 117,3 g.&#13;

This study aimed to determine the effect of oil palm shell mulch application on the growth of oil palm seedlings at the main nursery stage. The study was conducted for two months at an oil palm nursery in Tandikek Village, North Sumatra. A completely randomized design (CRD) with a single factor was applied, namely the dosage of oil palm shell mulch consisting of three levels: 0 g, 250 g, and 500 g per polybag , with four replications. The observed parameters included seedling height increment, stem diameter, number of leaves, and weed biomass. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) or the Kruskal–Wallis test at a 5% significance level. The results showed that oil palm shell mulch application affected oil palm seedling growth and weed suppression. The 500 g mulch treatment produced the best results, with an average height increment of 21.8 cm, stem diameter of 14.1 mm, number of leaves of 5.2, and the lowest weed biomass of 117.3 g.&#13;

Tiga perlakuan berbeda diteliti: satu pekerja menangani 1, 2, atau 3 teras, &#13;
dengan setiap perlakuan direplikasi 20 kali. Analisis data dilakukan dengan &#13;
menggunakan uji t satu sampel, membandingkan hasilnya dengan standar &#13;
perusahaan yang ditetapkan 180 pohon yang dipangkas per hari. Temuan &#13;
mengungkapkan bahwa Perlakuan 1 (179,8 pohon dipangkas; efisiensi 99,89%) &#13;
tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan dari standar. Sebaliknya, Perlakuan &#13;
2 (190,3 pohon dipangkas; efisiensi 105,72%) menunjukkan kinerja yang jauh lebih &#13;
tinggi. Sebaliknya, Perlakuan 3 (170,6 pohon dipangkas; efisiensi 94,78%) &#13;
menghasilkan efisiensi yang jauh lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan standar. &#13;
Berdasarkan hasil ini, penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pola pemangkasan di mana &#13;
satu pekerja mengelola dua teras adalah pilihan yang paling efektif dan efisien. &#13;
Implementasinya direkomendasikan untuk mengoptimalkan produktivitas tenaga &#13;
kerja dalam operasi pemangkasan kopi Arabika.; Three different treatments were studied: one worker handling 1, 2, or 3 &#13;
terraces, with each treatment replicated 20 times. Data analysis was performed &#13;
using a one-sample t-test, comparing the results to the company's established &#13;
standard of 180 trees pruned per day. The findings revealed that Treatment 1 (179.8 &#13;
trees pruned; 99.89% efficiency) showed no significant difference from the &#13;
standard. In contrast, Treatment 2 (190.3 trees pruned; 105.72% efficiency) showed &#13;
significantly higher performance. Conversely, Treatment 3 (170.6 trees pruned; &#13;
94.78% efficiency) resulted in significantly lower efficiency compared to the &#13;
standard. Based on these results, the study concluded that a pruning pattern where &#13;
one worker manages two terraces is the most effective and efficient option. Its &#13;
implementation is recommended to optimize labor productivity in Arabica coffee &#13;
pruning operations.
