PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang menghadapi permasalahan pada Raw Material Warehouse berupa perpindahan material yang berlebihan, aktivitas menunggu yang tinggi, serta tata letak yang kurang mendukung kelancaran aliran material. Kondisi ini menyebabkan proses pergudangan menjadi kurang efisien dan meningkatkan biaya material handling. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis serta mengoptimalkan tata letak gudang menggunakan metode Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Process Activity Mapping (PAM), klasifikasi Fast–Slow–Non Moving (FSN), dan analisis material handling. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya aktivitas non-value added yang dominan pada proses quality control, transportasi, dan administrasi. Usulan perbaikan dilakukan melalui penataan ulang area penyimpanan berdasarkan klasifikasi FSN sehingga material dengan frekuensi pergerakan tinggi ditempatkan lebih dekat ke area operasional. Perbaikan juga didukung oleh penerapan inline quality control dan sistem kerja yang lebih efisien. Hasil rancangan tata letak usulan mampu memperlancar aliran material, mengurangi jarak perpindahan, menurunkan lead time proses, serta menghasilkan penghematan biaya material handling sebesar Rp23.550.000 per tahun.; PT XYZ is a manufacturing company experiencing inefficiencies in its Raw Material Warehouse due to excessive material movement, high waiting time, and a warehouse layout that does not adequately support material flow. These conditions increase material handling costs and reduce operational efficiency. This study aims to analyze and optimize the warehouse layout using Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Process Activity Mapping (PAM), Fast–Slow–Non Moving (FSN) classification, and material handling analysis. The results indicate that non-value-added activities are mainly associated with quality control, transportation, and administrative processes. Improvement proposals include reorganizing storage locations based on FSN classification, ensuring that fast-moving materials are placed closer to operational areas. The proposed layout is further supported by inline quality control and more efficient work procedures. The optimized warehouse layout improves material flow, reduces travel distance and lead time, and generates material handling cost savings of IDR 23,550,000 per year, demonstrating its effectiveness in enhancing warehouse operational performance.

Mesin Yichang merupakan mesin kritis dalam proses pemintalan di PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk. Selama Maret–Agustus 2025, downtime mesin masih tinggi sehingga efektivitasnya belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan TPM, mengukur keandalan dan efektivitas mesin, mengidentifikasi kerugian dominan, serta menentukan alternatif perbaikan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi TPM, 5S, Reliability Maintenance, OEE, Six Big Losses, Diagram Pareto, dan Fishbone. Hasil menunjukkan MTBF sebesar 633 menit, MTTR 45 menit, MDT 95 menit, dan OEE sebesar 79,38%, masih di bawah standar world class 85%. Kerugian dominan adalah Idle and Minor Stoppage Losses dan Reduced Speed Losses masing-masing 13,38%, serta Breakdown Losses sebesar 6,66%. Perbaikan yang diusulkan meliputi OPL untuk mengatasi penumpukan lint pada jalur benang, pengendalian gangguan kecil, penguatan Autonomous Maintenance, serta peningkatan standar inspeksi dan keterampilan operator.; The Yichang machine is a critical machine in the spinning process at PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk. During March–August 2025, machine downtime remained high, resulting in suboptimal effectiveness. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), measure machine reliability and effectiveness, identify dominant losses, and determine improvement alternatives. The methods included TPM, 5S, Reliability Maintenance, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Six Big Losses, Pareto Diagram, and Fishbone Diagram. The results showed an MTBF of 633 minutes, MTTR of 45 minutes, MDT of 95 minutes, and an OEE of 79.38%, below the world-class standard of 85%. The dominant losses were Idle and Minor Stoppage Losses and Reduced Speed Losses, each at 13.38%, followed by Breakdown Losses at 6.66%. The proposed improvements include a One Point Lesson (OPL) to address lint accumulation along the yarn path, control minor stoppages, strengthen Autonomous Maintenance, and improve inspection standards and operator skills.

Kelancaran proses distribusi merupakan elemen penting dalam menjaga ketepatan waktu pengiriman dan daya saing perusahaan di industri manufaktur. PT XYZ sebagai perusahaan yang memproduksi kertas untuk kebutuhan ekspor perlu memastikan bahwa proses stuffing pada Finished Goods Warehouse berjalan sesuai standar karena tahapan ini menjadi titik kontrol terakhir sebelum barang dikirim menuju pelabuhan. Dalam praktiknya masih ditemukan keterlambatan stuffing yang dapat memengaruhi waktu tunggu kontainer dan menimbulkan risiko ketidaksesuaian jadwal distribusi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis kinerja stuffing, mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab keterlambatan, serta menentukan faktor yang paling kritis melalui pendekatan SCOR dan FMEA. Hasil analisis digunakan sebagai dasar untuk merumuskan alternatif solusi yang dapat mendukung peningkatan efektivitas proses stuffing dan menjaga konsistensi aliran distribusi ekspor perusahaan. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi bagi penguatan evaluasi operasional serta mendukung upaya perbaikan berkelanjutan dalam manajemen distribusi PT XYZ.; The smooth operation of the distribution process is a crucial factor in maintaining delivery timeliness and the competitiveness of manufacturing industries. PT XYZ, a paper manufacturing company serving export demand, must ensure that the stuffing process in the Finished Goods Warehouse is carried out according to established standards, as it represents the final control point before products are shipped to the port. In practice, stuffing delays still occur, affecting container waiting times and creating risks of distribution schedule disruptions. This study was conducted to analyze stuffing performance, identify delay factors, and determine the most critical root causes using the SCOR and FMEA approaches. The results of the analysis were used as the basis for developing alternative solutions aimed at improving the effectiveness of the stuffing process and maintaining the consistency of the company’s export distribution flow. The study is expected to contribute to operational performance evaluation and support continuous improvement efforts in PT XYZ’s distribution management.

PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan FMCG yang memproduksi keju olahan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi perusahaan adalah terjadinya stockout pada bahan baku prioritas akibat fluktuasi kebutuhan, tidak dapat mengetahui stok akhir pada periode berikutnya, dan belum adanya perhitungan safety stock secara kuantitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan rekomendasi pengendalian persediaan bahan baku prioritas untuk mengurangi risiko stockout. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis ABC, Fuzzy Sugeno, safety stock, dan reorder point. Hasil analisis ABC menunjukkan bahwa BBCC001 termasuk kategori A dengan kontribusi sebesar 33,4%. Perhitungan Fuzzy Sugeno menghasilkan MAPE sebesar 8,213% dengan tingkat keberhasilan 91,787%. Nilai safety stock yang direkomendasikan sebesar 115.925 dan reorder point sebesar 881.698. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar rekomendasi bagi perusahaan dalam menentukan persediaan pengaman dan titik pemesanan ulang bahan baku prioritas.; PT XYZ is an FMCG company that produces processed cheese products. The company faces a stockout problem in priority raw material due to demand fluctuations, the inability to identify ending stock for the following period, and the absence of quantitative safety stock and reorder point calculations. This study aims to determine inventory control recommendations for priority raw material in order to reduce the risk of stockout. The methods used in this study include ABC analysis, Fuzzy Sugeno, safety stock, and reorder point. The ABC analysis shows that BBCC001 is classified as a category A raw material with a contribution of 33.4%. The Fuzzy Sugeno calculation produces a MAPE value of 8.213% with an accuracy rate of 91.787%. The recommended safety stock is 115,925 and the reorder point is 881,698. The results of this study can be used as recommendations for the company in determining safety stock and reorder point as part of priority raw material inventory control.
