Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian mulsa cangkang kelapa sawit terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit pada tahap pembibitan main nursery. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama dua bulan di pembibitan kelapa sawit Desa Tandikek, Sumatera Utara. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan satu faktor, yaitu dosis mulsa cangkang kelapa sawit yang terdiri atas tiga taraf, yaitu 0 g, 250 g, dan 500 g per polybag dengan empat ulangan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi pertambahan tinggi bibit, diameter batang, jumlah daun, dan berat gulma. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji ANOVA atau uji Kruskal–Wallis pada taraf nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian mulsa cangkang kelapa sawit berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit dan penekanan gulma. Perlakuan dosis mulsa 500 g per polybag memberikan hasil terbaik dengan rata-rata pertambahan tinggi bibit sebesar 21,8 cm, diameter batang 14,1 mm, jumlah daun 5,2 helai, serta berat gulma terendah sebesar 117,3 g.&#13;

This study aimed to determine the effect of oil palm shell mulch application on the growth of oil palm seedlings at the main nursery stage. The study was conducted for two months at an oil palm nursery in Tandikek Village, North Sumatra. A completely randomized design (CRD) with a single factor was applied, namely the dosage of oil palm shell mulch consisting of three levels: 0 g, 250 g, and 500 g per polybag , with four replications. The observed parameters included seedling height increment, stem diameter, number of leaves, and weed biomass. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) or the Kruskal–Wallis test at a 5% significance level. The results showed that oil palm shell mulch application affected oil palm seedling growth and weed suppression. The 500 g mulch treatment produced the best results, with an average height increment of 21.8 cm, stem diameter of 14.1 mm, number of leaves of 5.2, and the lowest weed biomass of 117.3 g.&#13;

Tiga perlakuan berbeda diteliti: satu pekerja menangani 1, 2, atau 3 teras, &#13;
dengan setiap perlakuan direplikasi 20 kali. Analisis data dilakukan dengan &#13;
menggunakan uji t satu sampel, membandingkan hasilnya dengan standar &#13;
perusahaan yang ditetapkan 180 pohon yang dipangkas per hari. Temuan &#13;
mengungkapkan bahwa Perlakuan 1 (179,8 pohon dipangkas; efisiensi 99,89%) &#13;
tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan dari standar. Sebaliknya, Perlakuan &#13;
2 (190,3 pohon dipangkas; efisiensi 105,72%) menunjukkan kinerja yang jauh lebih &#13;
tinggi. Sebaliknya, Perlakuan 3 (170,6 pohon dipangkas; efisiensi 94,78%) &#13;
menghasilkan efisiensi yang jauh lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan standar. &#13;
Berdasarkan hasil ini, penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pola pemangkasan di mana &#13;
satu pekerja mengelola dua teras adalah pilihan yang paling efektif dan efisien. &#13;
Implementasinya direkomendasikan untuk mengoptimalkan produktivitas tenaga &#13;
kerja dalam operasi pemangkasan kopi Arabika.; Three different treatments were studied: one worker handling 1, 2, or 3 &#13;
terraces, with each treatment replicated 20 times. Data analysis was performed &#13;
using a one-sample t-test, comparing the results to the company's established &#13;
standard of 180 trees pruned per day. The findings revealed that Treatment 1 (179.8 &#13;
trees pruned; 99.89% efficiency) showed no significant difference from the &#13;
standard. In contrast, Treatment 2 (190.3 trees pruned; 105.72% efficiency) showed &#13;
significantly higher performance. Conversely, Treatment 3 (170.6 trees pruned; &#13;
94.78% efficiency) resulted in significantly lower efficiency compared to the &#13;
standard. Based on these results, the study concluded that a pruning pattern where &#13;
one worker manages two terraces is the most effective and efficient option. Its &#13;
implementation is recommended to optimize labor productivity in Arabica coffee &#13;
pruning operations.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis risiko dan menentukan strategi mitigasi pada aspek pemanenan kopi arabika di PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi dengan menggunakan metode House of Risk (HOR). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan 10 responden ahli menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil fase HOR 1 menunjukkan terdapat delapan risk agent dominan yang perlu diprioritaskan. Fase HOR 2 menghasilkan strategi mitigasi dengan prioritas utama, yaitu penerapan sistem rekrutmen pekerja berbasis komunitas desa penyangga. Strategi ini dinilai efektif dan realistis untuk mengurangi ketergantungan pada tenaga kerja musiman. Implementasi strategi mitigasi tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kinerja pemanenan kopi arabika secara berkelanjutan di PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi.; This study aims to analyze risks and develop mitigation strategies in the harvesting process of Arabica coffee at PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi using the House of Risk (HOR) method. Data were collected through interviews with 10 expert respondents selected by purposive sampling. The results of HOR phase 1 identified eight dominant risk agents requiring priority handling. In phase 2, the highest priority mitigation strategy is the implementation of a community-based recruitment system in buffer villages. This strategy is considered effective and realistic in reducing dependence on seasonal labor. The implementation of this mitigation strategy is expected to sustainably improve the harvesting performance of Arabica coffee at PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi.

Kopi merupakan salah satu tanaman komoditas perkebunan Indonesia &#13;
memiliki peranan produksi terbesar keenam setelah tanaman kelapa sawit, kakao, &#13;
karet, tebu, dan teh. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ekstrak kulit &#13;
jeruk nipis digunakan sebagai insektisida nabati di pembibitan kopi arabika PT. &#13;
Sulotco Jaya Abadi dalam pengendalian hama ulat grayak. Percobaan dilakukan &#13;
dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok untuk perlakuan ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis pada &#13;
4 taraf dan pengulangan sebanyak 3 kali, sehingga mendapatkan 12 satuan &#13;
percobaan. Perlakuan meliputi konsentrasi ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis 0% (P1), 12%. &#13;
(P2), 18% (P3), dan 24% (P4). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji ANOVA dan uji &#13;
lanjut DMRT pada taraf 5%. Tingkat serangan hama ulat grayak pada 4 konsentrasi &#13;
berbeda menunjukkan bahwa serangan tertinggi ditemukan di konsentrasi 0% &#13;
dengan paramater kerusakan daun berlubang 13,00 helai, daun robek 12,33 helai, &#13;
dan daun terlipat 11,00 helai dan serangan terendah ditemukan pada konsentrasi &#13;
24% dengan persentase kerusakan daun berlubang 6,33 helai, daun robek 5,66 helai, &#13;
dan daun terlipat 5,00 helai. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa semakin tinggi &#13;
perlakuan ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis maka peredaran hama ulat grayak pada bibit kopi &#13;

Coffee is one of Indonesia’s plantation commodities, ranking sixth in &#13;
production after oil palm, cocoa, rubber, sugarcane, and tea. This research aimed to &#13;
analyze the effect of lime peel extract as a botanical insecticide in controlling &#13;
armyworm pests in Arabica coffee nurseries at PT. Sulotco Jaya Abadi. The &#13;
experiment was conducted using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with four &#13;
concentration levels of lime peel extract and three replications, resulting in twelve &#13;
experimental units. The treatments consisted of lime peel extract concentrations of &#13;
0% (P1), 12% (P2), 18% (P3), and 24% (P4). Data were analyzed using ANOVA &#13;
and further tested with DMRT at a 5% significance level. The results showed that &#13;
the highest level of armyworm infestation occurred at the 0% concentration, with &#13;
leaf damage parameters recorded as 13.00 holed leaves, 12.33 torn leaves, and &#13;
11.00 folded leaves. Conversely, the lowest infestation was found at the 24% &#13;
concentration, with an average of 6.33 holed leaves, 5.66 torn leaves, and 5.00 &#13;
folded leaves. These findings indicate that the higher the concentration of lime peel &#13;
extract applied, the lower the incidence of armyworm attacks on Arabica coffee &#13;
seedlings aged 0–30 days after planting (DAP).
