Penggunaan alat tangkap trawl di perairan Kota Bengkulu masih menjadi &#13;
isu karena berkaitan dengan keberlanjutan sumber daya ikan, efektivitas &#13;
penangkapan, kelayakan usaha, dan kepatuhan terhadap peraturan perikanan. &#13;
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji penggunaan alat tangkap trawl berdasarkan &#13;
aspek biologi, teknis dan legalitas, serta finansial. Penelitian dilaksanakan di &#13;
Tangkahan Teluk Sepang, Kota Bengkulu pada Desember 2025–Januari 2026 dan &#13;
Maret–April 2026 menggunakan metode survei melalui observasi lapangan dan &#13;
wawancara dengan nelayan. Analisis biologi dilakukan berdasarkan komposisi &#13;
hasil tangkapan utama dan hasil tangkapan sampingan serta perbandingan ukuran &#13;
hasil tangkapan utama dengan Length at first maturity (Lm). Analisis teknis &#13;
meliputi metode pengoperasian, daya jangkau operasi, pengaruh lingkungan, dan &#13;
legalitas alat tangkap berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan &#13;
Nomor 36 Tahun 2023, sedangkan analisis finansial menggunakan Revenue Cost &#13;
Ratio (R/C Ratio) dan Payback Period (PP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa &#13;
proporsi hasil tangkapan utama meningkat dari 32% pada musim paceklik &#13;
menjadi 66% pada musim penangkapan. Sebagian besar hasil tangkapan utama &#13;
belum mencapai ukuran matang gonad pertama, kecuali ikan layur. Secara teknis &#13;
alat tangkap mudah dioperasikan, namun secara legal belum memenuhi ketentuan &#13;
Peraturan Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan Nomor 36 Tahun 2023. Seluruh unit &#13;
usaha memiliki nilai R/C Ratio lebih dari satu sehingga layak dioperasikan.; The use of trawl fishing gear in the waters of Bengkulu City remains an &#13;
important issue due to its implications for fishery resource sustainability, fishing &#13;
efficiency, business feasibility, and compliance with fisheries regulations. This &#13;
study aimed to assess the use of trawl fishing gear based on biological, technical &#13;
and legal, and financial aspects. The research was conducted at Teluk Sepang &#13;
Fishing Base, Bengkulu City, from December 2025 to January 2026 and March to &#13;
April 2026 using a survey method through field observations and interviews with &#13;
fishermen. Biological analysis was carried out based on the composition of the &#13;
main catch and bycatch, as well as by comparing the size of the main catch with &#13;
the Length at first maturity (Lm). Technical analysis included fishing operations, &#13;
operational range, environmental influences, and the legal compliance of the &#13;
fishing gear with the Regulation of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of &#13;
the Republic of Indonesia Number 36 of 2023. Financial feasibility was evaluated &#13;
using the Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C Ratio) and Payback Period (PP). The results &#13;
showed that the proportion of the main catch increased from 32% during the low &#13;
fishing season to 66% during the peak fishing season. Most of the main catch had &#13;
not reached the Length at first maturity, except for largehead hairtail (Trichiurus &#13;
lepturus). Technically, the fishing gear was easy to operate; however, it did not &#13;
fully comply with the provisions of the Regulation of the Minister of Marine &#13;
Affairs and Fisheries Number 36 of 2023. All fishing units had an R/C Ratio &#13;
greater than one, indicating that the business was financially feasible.

Industri galangan kapal perikanan tradisional di Indonesia masih menghadapi tantangan pengelolaan material kayu yang efisien, sedangkan CV Arga Karya Mina belum memiliki informasi terukur mengenai pemanfaatan kayu dan pengelolaan sisa material sehingga menimbulkan penumpukan sisa kayu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan manajemen material kayu, menentukan tingkat pemanfaatan dan mengevaluasi pengelolaan sisa kayu, serta merumuskan potensi perbaikannya di CV Arga Karya Mina. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara terstruktur secara sensus, pengukuran 12 sampel kayu secara accidental sampling, dan studi literatur. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan komparatif kuantitatif dengan membandingkan volume kebutuhan, ketersediaan, dan penggunaan kayu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan manajemen material kayu diterapkan melalui perencanaan, pengadaan rantai pasok, penyimpanan open yard storage, dan pemanfaatan kayu pada seluruh tahap konstruksi, dengan tingkat pemanfaatan 78,8% dan sisa kayu 21,2%. Pengelolaan sisa kayu masih melalui penjualan berdasarkan ukuran potongan tanpa pencatatan terstruktur, sehingga belum terintegrasi secara sistematis. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan manajemen material kayu di CV Arga Karya Mina telah berjalan baik namun perlu perbaikan, sehingga direkomendasikan sistem pencatatan material terstruktur dan penataan ulang tata letak bengkel pola U-Shape untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan mengurangi limbah kayu.; The traditional fishing vessel shipbuilding industry in Indonesia still faces challenges in efficient wood material management, while CV Arga Karya Mina lacked measurable information on wood utilization and residue management, resulting in accumulated wood waste. This study aimed to describe the wood material management system, determine the utilization rate and evaluate residue management, and formulate potential improvements at CV Arga Karya Mina. Data collected through structured census interviews, measurement of 12 wood samples via accidental sampling, and literature review. Data were analyzed descriptively-qualitatively and comparatively-quantitatively by comparing required, available, and used wood volumes. The results showed wood management was implemented through planning, supply chain procurement, open yard storage, and wood utilization across all construction stages, with a utilization rate of 78.8% and residue of 21.2%. Residue management remained incidental, through sales based on cut size without structured recording, indicating it was not yet systematically integrated. This study concluded that wood material management at CV Arga Karya Mina had run reasonably well but still required improvement, recommending a structured recording system and a U-Shape workshop layout to improve efficiency and reduce wood waste.

Sampah laut merupakan ancaman serius bagi ekosistem terumbu karang di&#13;
Perairan Pulau Pramuka yang menerima masukan sampah dari Teluk Jakarta&#13;
sebesar 8,32 ton per hari, dan aktivitas manusia setempat. Penelitian ini bertujuan&#13;
untuk menginventarisasi sampah laut; mengidentifikasi kondisi terumbu karang,&#13;
serta mengestimasi kelimpahan, biomassa, dan tingkat trofik ikan karang yang&#13;
terkait dengan kualitas ekosistem terumbu karang yang dipengaruhi oleh sampah&#13;
laut (marine debris) di Perairan Pulau Pramuka. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada&#13;
empat stasiun menggunakan metode Belt Transect, Line Intercept Transect, dan&#13;
Underwater Visual Census pada kedalaman 3–10 meter. Hasil menunjukkan jenis&#13;
sampah dominan berupa plastik bungkus makanan dan kain, dengan tutupan&#13;
sampah tertinggi sebesar 16% dari 250 m²&#13;
dan jumlah sampah laut yang tidak&#13;
selalu berbanding lurus dengan beratnya. Terdapat hubungan antara persentase&#13;
tutupan karang keras dan komunitas ikan karang dengan tutupan sampah laut.&#13;
Pada stasiun dengan tutupan sampah tertinggi ditemukan kelimpahan ikan&#13;
tertinggi, namun biomassa terendah dan didominasi oleh ikan jenis oportunistik,&#13;
terutama dari famili Pomacentridae. Akumulasi sampah laut berdampak nyata&#13;
pada ekosistem terumbu karang di lokasi studi, sehingga diperlukan pengurangan&#13;
sampah yang masuk ke laut melalui pendekatan terpadu.; Marine debris poses a significant threat to the coral reef ecosystem in the&#13;
waters surrounding Pramuka Island, which receives about 8.32 tons of waste per&#13;
day from Jakarta Bay, in addition to waste from local human activities. This study&#13;
aimed to inventory marine debris, assess coral reef condition, and estimate the&#13;
abundance, biomass, and trophic levels of reef fish in relation to the quality of&#13;
coral reef ecosystems affected by marine debris in the waters of Pramuka Island.&#13;
Data were collected at four stations using the Belt Transect, Line Intercept&#13;
Transect, and Underwater Visual Census methods at depths ranging from 3 to 10&#13;
meters. The findings indicate that the predominant types of debris are plastic food&#13;
wrappers and fabric, with the highest debris cover reaching 16% of 250 m².&#13;
Notably, the quantity of marine debris does not always correlate directly with its&#13;
weight. There is a relationship between the percentage cover of hard coral and the&#13;
coral reef fish community with marine debris cover. At the station with the&#13;
highest debris cover, the greatest fish abundance was observed, although it&#13;
exhibited the lowest biomass and was dominated by opportunistic fish species,&#13;
particularly from the family Pomacentridae. The accumulation of marine debris&#13;
significantly impacts the coral reef ecosystem at the study site, highlighting the&#13;
need for an integrated approach to reduce waste entering the sea.

Kawasan Konservasi Perairan Belitung merupakan kawasan konservasi terluas di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dengan potensi sumberdaya perikanan yang tinggi. Kondisi perikanan tangkap di perairan Kabupaten Belitung mengalami overfishing dengan tingkat pemanfaatan mencapai 106,54% dari Jumlah Tangkapan yang Diperbolehkan (JTB). Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan adanya tekanan terhadap sumber daya perikanan sehingga pengawasan terhadap aktivitas kapal perikanan perlu ditingkatkan, terutama pada Kawasan Konservasi Perairan Belitung. Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan sebaran kapal perikanan berdasarkan fase bulan, membandingkan jumlah dan distribusi kapal pada fase bulan gelap dan terang, serta merumuskan rekomendasi pengawasan. Data yang digunakan berupa citra satelit VIIRS Boat Detection (VBD) dan Automatic Identification System (AIS) periode 2021-2025, yang diolah secara spasial-temporal dan deskriptif menggunakan analisis rasio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas kapal perikanan lebih tinggi pada fase bulan gelap di musim timur. Terdeteksi 4 titik kapal di zona inti. Rasio rata-rata fase bulan gelap terhadap terang mencapai 4,63 pada musim timur dan 2,00 pada musim barat. Rekomendasi meliputi patroli adaptif berbasis fase bulan, penguatan pegawasan seluruh zona terutama pada kawasan utara dan selatan, serta penguatan penegakan hukum dengan memanfaatkan data satelit sebagai alat bukti digital.; The Belitung Marine Protected Area (MPA) is the largest marine protected&#13;
area in Bangka Belitung Islands Province and possesses substantial fisheries&#13;
resources. However, capture fisheries in Belitung Regency have experienced&#13;
overfishing, with an exploitation rate reaching 106,54% of the Total Allowable&#13;
Catch (TAC). These conditions indicate increasing pressure on fishery resources&#13;
and highlight the need to strengthen monitoring of fishing vessel activities,&#13;
particularly within the Belitung MPA. This study aimed to map the spatial&#13;
distribution of fishing vessels based on lunar phases, compare vessel abundance&#13;
and distribution between dark and bright lunar phases, and formulate monitoring&#13;
recommendations. The study used VIIRS Boat Detection (VBD) satellite imagery&#13;
and Automatic Identification System (AIS) data from 2021–2025. Data were&#13;
analyzed using spatial-temporal, descriptive, and ratio analyses. The results&#13;
showed that fishing vessel activity was higher during the dark lunar phase in the&#13;
east monsoon. Four vessel detections were identified within the core zone. The&#13;
average dark-to-bright phase ratio reached 4,63 in the east monsoon and 2,00 in&#13;
the west monsoon. Recommendations include adaptive lunar phase-based patrols,&#13;
strengthened monitoring across all zones, particularly northern and southern areas,&#13;
and enhanced law enforcement using satellite data as digital evidence.
