Centotheca lappacea merupakan gulma golongan rumput yang banyak ditemukan di perkebunan kelapa sawit dan berpotensi menurunkan pertumbuhan tanaman akibat persaingan dalam memperoleh air, unsur hara, cahaya, dan ruang tumbuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh berbagai dosis herbisida glifosat terhadap pertumbuhan gulma Centotheca lappacea serta menentukan dosis yang paling efektif dalam menekan biomassa gulma. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan empat perlakuan, yaitu D0 (kontrol), D1 (3 L ha?¹), D2 (5 L ha?¹), dan D3 (6 L ha?¹), masing-masing diulang tiga kali. Parameter yang diamati meliputi analisis vegetasi, bobot basah gulma, dan efektivitas penekanan biomassa. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) pada taraf nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan dosis herbisida glifosat tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap bobot basah gulma Centotheca lappacea pada 6 minggu setelah aplikasi. Berdasarkan efektivitas penekanan biomassa, dosis 5 L ha?¹ (D2) memberikan nilai tertinggi sebesar 7,22%, diikuti dosis 3 L ha?¹ (6,19%), sedangkan dosis 6 L ha?¹ menghasilkan nilai -20,62%.&#13;

Centotheca lappacea is a grass weed commonly found in oil palm plantations and has the potential to reduce crop growth due to competition for water, nutrients, light, and growing space. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of different glyphosate herbicide doses on the growth of Centotheca lappacea and to determine the most effective dose for suppressing weed biomass. The experiment was arranged in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with four treatments, namely D0 (control), D1 (3 L ha?¹), D2 (5 L ha?¹), and D3 (6 L ha?¹), each replicated three times. The observed parameters included vegetation analysis, fresh weed biomass, and weed biomass suppression efficiency. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) at a 5% significance level. The results showed that different glyphosate doses had no significant effect on the fresh biomass of C. lappacea at 6 weeks after application. However, based on weed biomass suppression efficiency, the 5 L ha?¹ dose (D2) produced the highest suppression efficiency (7.22%), followed by the 3 L ha?¹ dose (6.19%), whereas the 6 L ha?¹ dose resulted in a negative efficiency (-20.62%). &#13;

Ketersediaan air merupakan faktor penting dalam pertumbuhan bibit tebu budset (Saccharum officinarum L.) pada fase pembibitan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh volume, frekuensi, dan interaksi penyiraman terhadap pertumbuhan bibit tebu varietas PSNX-052. Penelitian dilaksanakan di rumah pembibitan PG Rendeng menggunakan rancangan kelompok lengkap teracak (RKLT) faktorial dengan dua faktor, yaitu frekuensi penyiraman (1, 2, 3, dan 4 kali per hari) dan volume air (33, 100, dan 200 ml tanaman/aplikasi). Parameter yang diamati meliputi daya berkecambah, tinggi batang, diameter batang, jumlah daun, dan jumlah anakan. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dan dilanjutkan uji DMRT taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa volume dan frekuensi penyiraman tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap daya berkecambah, tinggi batang, jumlah daun, dan jumlah anakan. Interaksi volume dan frekuensi penyiraman berpengaruh nyata terhadap diameter batang pada 5–10 minggu setelah tanam.&#13;

 Water availability is an important factor affecting the growth of sugarcane budset (Saccharum officinarum L.) seedlings during the nursery stage. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of irrigation volume, irrigation frequency, and their interaction on the growth of PSNX-052 sugarcane seedlings. The experiment was conducted at the PG Rendeng nursery using a factorial randomized complete block design (RCBD) with two factors: irrigation frequency (once, twice, three times, and four times daily) and irrigation volume (33, 100, and 200 ml plant/application). Observed parameters included germination percentage, plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, and number of tillers. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% significance level. The results showed that irrigation volume and irrigation frequency had no significant effects on germination, plant height, number of leaves, or number of tillers. However, the interaction between irrigation volume and frequency significantly affected stem diameter at 5–10 weeks after planting.&#13;

Pembibitan kopi robusta membutuhkan media tumbuh yang mendukung pertumbuhan vegetatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis respons vegetatif bibit Coffea canephora terhadap vermikompos berbahan cascara dan media tanam organik pada beberapa rasio bahan organik terhadap tanah. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan kelompok lengkap teracak (RKLT) faktorial dua faktor, yaitu jenis bahan organik dan rasio bahan organik terhadap tanah. Jenis bahan organik terdiri atas vermikompos berbahan cascara, media tanam organik, dan kombinasi keduanya, sedangkan rasio yang digunakan adalah 1:4, 1:6, dan 1:8. Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun, panjang akar, serta bobot basah dan kering tajuk maupun akar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis bahan organik berpengaruh nyata terhadap beberapa parameter. Media tanam organik lebih menonjol pada tinggi tanaman, sedangkan vermikompos cascara lebih menonjol pada parameter daun, tajuk, dan akar. Rasio bahan organik secara umum tidak berpengaruh nyata, sedangkan interaksi perlakuan berpengaruh nyata pada jumlah daun, panjang akar, dan bobot basah akar.; Robusta coffee nurseries require growing media that support vegetative growth. This study aimed to analyze the vegetative response of Coffea canephora seedlings to cascara vermicompost and commercial organic growing media at several organic material-to-soil ratios. The experiment used a two-factor factorial randomized complete block design (RCBD): organic material type and organic material-to-soil ratio. The organic materials were cascara vermicompost, commercial organic growing media, and their combination, while the ratios were 1:4, 1:6, and 1:8. The observed parameters included plant height, stem diameter, leaf number, root length, and shoot and root fresh and dry weights. The results showed that organic material type significantly affected several growth parameters. Commercial organic growing media showed a more prominent response in plant height, whereas cascara vermicompost was more prominent in leaf, shoot, and root parameters. The organic material-to-soil ratio generally had no significant effect, while treatment interaction significantly affected leaf number, root length, and root fresh weight.

Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan efektivitas herbisida Triclopyr dan Metil metsulfuron terhadap kedua jenis gulma serta menentukan dosis yang paling optimal berdasarkan nilai Summed Dominance Ratio (SDR), bobot basah, bobot kering, fitotoksisitas, dan persentase kematian gulma. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT) dengan lima perlakuan, yaitu kontrol (Triclopyr 110 mL/15 L air + Metil metsulfuron 16 g/15 L air), Triclopyr 200 mL/15 L air, Triclopyr 250 mL/15 L air, Metil metsulfuron 30 g/15 L air, dan Metil metsulfuron 35 g/15 L air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Stenochlaena palustris memiliki SDR tertinggi sebesar 41,92%, sedangkan Dicranopteris linearis sebesar 35,64%. Triclopyr 250 mL/15 L air merupakan perlakuan paling efektif untuk mengendalikan Stenochlaena palustris dengan persentase kematian mencapai 100% pada 8 MSA, sedangkan Metil metsulfuron 35 g/15 L air paling efektif mengendalikan Dicranopteris linearis dengan persentase kematian 100% pada 8 MSA. Seluruh perlakuan tidak menimbulkan gejala fitotoksisitas pada tanaman kelapa sawit.; This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of Triclopyr and Metsulfuron&#13;

Triclopyr at 250 mL/15 L of water, Metsulfuron Methyl at 30 g/15 L of water, and&#13;
Metsulfuron Methyl at 35 g/15 L of water. The results showed that Stenochlaena&#13;
palustris had the highest SDR of 41,92%, while Dicranopteris linearis had an SDR&#13;
of 35,64%. Triclopyr at 250 mL/15 L of water was the most effective treatment for&#13;
controlling Stenochlaena palustris, achieving 100% mortality at 8 weeks after&#13;
application (WAA), whereas Metsulfuron Methyl at 35 g/15 L of water was the&#13;
most effective treatment for controlling Dicranopteris linearis, also achieving&#13;
100% mortality at 8 WAA. None of the treatments caused phytotoxicity symptoms&#13;
in the oil palm plants.
