Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) adalah penyakit viral yang bersifat fatal&#13;
pada kucing akibat mutasi dari Feline Coronavirus, dengan gejala khas berupa&#13;
akumulasi cairan (ascites) dalam rongga abdomen pada bentuk efusifnya.&#13;
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis metode diagnosis dan efektivitas terapi pada&#13;
kucing yang diduga terinfeksi FIP. Penelitian dilakukan di Klinik PND PET CARE,&#13;
Bandung, pada 7 November hingga 16 Desember 2024. Metode yang digunakan&#13;
meliputi anamnesis, pemeriksaan fisik, serta pemeriksaan penunjang (rontgen,&#13;
abdominocentesis, dan tes Rivalta). Objek penelitian adalah seekor kucing jantan&#13;
ras Anggora berusia 3 tahun bernama Bulbul. Hasil pemeriksaan menunjukkan&#13;
adanya akumulasi cairan di rongga abdomen dan hasil uji Rivalta positif yang&#13;
menandakan cairan eksudat. Terapi suportif berupa pemberian furosemid,&#13;
metronidazole, ornipural, dan molnuvirapir menunjukkan hasil positif dengan&#13;
perbaikan kondisi klinis dan penurunan distensi abdomen.&#13;
Kata kunci: Abdominocentesi, feline infectious peritonitis, uji rivalta; Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) is a fatal viral disease in cats caused by a&#13;
mutation of the Feline Coronavirus, characterized by fluid accumulation (ascites)&#13;
in the abdominal cavity in its effusive form. This study aimed to analyze diagnostic&#13;
methods and treatment effectiveness for a cat suspected of having effusive FIP. The&#13;
research was conducted at PND PET CARE Clinic in Bandung from November 7&#13;
to December 16, 2024. The methods included anamnesis, physical examination, and&#13;
supporting diagnostics such as radiography, abdominocentesis, and Rivalta test.&#13;
The research subject was a 3-year-old male Angora cat named Bulbul. Examination&#13;
revealed ascitic fluid accumulation and a positive Rivalta test result, indicating&#13;
exudate. Supportive therapy using furosemide, metronidazole, ornipural, and&#13;
molnupiravir showed positive results with clinical improvement and reduced&#13;
abdominal distension&#13;

Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) merupakan penyakit pada kucing yang disebabkan oleh agen infeksi feline coronavirus (FCoV) yang bersifat mematikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penanganan yang tepat terhadap kasus FIP tipe kering (dry) dengan manifestasi neurologis pada seekor kucing domestik bernama Kim di Paws Claws Pet Clinic Cibubur. Diagnosis dilakukan melalui anamnesis, pemeriksaan klinis, rapid test, dan hematologi darah. Hasil rapid test menunjukkan kucing positif FIP, dan pemeriksaan hematologi menunjukkan leukositosis serta neutrofilia. Terapi suportif yang diberikan meliputi cairan infus, antibiotik, antikonvulsan, multivitamin, serta antiviral GS-441524. Setelah menjalani perawatan selama 14 hari, kucing menunjukkan perbaikan signifikan, seperti membaiknya refleks saraf dan aktivitas fisik. Studi kasus ini menunjukkan pentingnya diagnosis tepat dan terapi suportif berbasis gejala klinis serta penggunaan GS-441524 dalam menangani FIP kering dengan gejala neurologis.; Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) is a disease in cats caused by the deadly feline coronavirus (FCoV) infectious agent. This study aims to determine the appropriate handling of dry type FIP cases with neurological manifestations in a domestic cat named Kim at Paws Claws Pet Clinic Cibubur. Diagnosis is made through anamnesis, clinical examination, rapid test, and blood hematology. The results of the rapid test showed the cat was FIP positive, and the hematology examination showed leukocytosis and neutrophilia. Supportive therapy provided includes intravenous fluids, antibiotics, anticonvulsants, multivitamins, and antiviral GS-441524. After 14 days of treatment, the cats showed significant improvements, such as improved nerve reflexes and physical activity. This case study demonstrates the importance of appropriate diagnosis and supportive therapy based on clinical symptoms as well as the use of GS-441524 in managing dry FIP with neurological symptoms.

Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) merupakan penyakit virus fatal yang disebabkan oleh Feline Coronavirus (FCoV). FIP terbagi menjadi dua bentuk, yaitu FIP basah (effusive) dan FIP kering (non-effusive), yang masing-masing memiliki gejala klinis dan respons terhadap terapi yang berbeda. Studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan perawatan dan respons pengobatan pada dua kasus FIP dengan tipe yang berbeda di Zoom Vet klinik. Studi kasus ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua kucing yang terkena FIP dengan jenis berbeda yang dilakukan pemeriksaan fisik, tindakan medis, serta pemeriksaan penunjang seperti hematologi, kimia darah, dan rapid test. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kucing dengan FIP non-effusive diberikan pengobatan berupa terapi cairan, antikonvulsan, antivirus, antibiotik, antiseptik serta vitamin. Kucing dengan FIP effusive diberikan pengobatan berupa antivirus, diuretik, Ornipural ®?, fufang, B12 dan curcuma. Pengobatan FIP tipe kering memerlukan waktu pemulihan selama 82 hari sedangkan kucing yang terkena FIP effusive memerlukan waktu selama 39 hari hingga pulih. Perbedaan penanganan ini menunjukkan pentingnya strategi perawatan bedasarkan tipe FIP untuk memperoleh hasil pengobatan yang optimal.; Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) is a fatal viral disease caused by the Feline Coronavirus (FCoV). FIP is divided into two forms, namely wet (effusive) and dry (non-effusive) FIP, each of which has different clinical symptoms and response to therapy. This case study aims to describe the care and treatment response in two cases of FIP with different types at Zoom Vet clinic. This case study was conducted using two cats with different types of FIP who underwent physical examination, medical treatment, and supporting tests such as hematology, blood chemistry, and rapid tests. Results showed that cats with dry FIP were treated with fluid therapy, anticonvulsants, antivirals, antibiotics, antiseptics and vitamins. Cats with wet FIP were treated with antivirals, diuretics, Ornipural®?, fufang, B12 and curcuma. Treatment of dry-type FIP took 82 days to recover while cats with wet FIP took 39 days to recover. This difference in treatment demonstrates the importance of treatment strategies based on FIP type to achieve optimal treatment outcomes.

Tumor kulit pada kucing menjadi salah satu masalah kesehatan yang memerlukan tindakan pembedahan sebagai terapi utama. Perawatan luka pascaoperasi memiliki peran penting dalam mempercepat proses penyembuhan dan pencegahan komplikasi seperti infeksi. Penyembuhan luka merupakan suatu proses yang kompleks karena berbagai kegiatan bio-seluler, bio-kimia terjadi berkesinambungan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengamati proses persembuhan luka menggunakan larutan NaCl 0,9 %  pasca operasi tumor kulit pada kucing berumur 14 tahun di Citrapet and Vet. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi klinis terhadap proses penyembuhan luka, perubahan kondisi luka, serta respon hewan pasca operasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan larutan NaCl 0,9 % dalam perawatan luka mampu menjaga kelembaban luka, mengurangi risiko infeksi, dan membuat luka menutup kembali selama 25 hari. Terapi suportif seperti antibiotik juga berkontribusi terhadap keberhasilan perawatan.; Skin tumors in cats are one of the health problems that require surgery as the main therapy. Postoperative wound care plays an important role in accelerating the healing process and preventing complications such as infection. Wound healing is a complex process as various bio-cellular, bio-chemical activities occur continuously. This study aims to observe the wound healing process using 0.9% NaCl solution after skin tumor surgery in a 14-year-old cat at Citrapet and Vet. The methods used in this study include clinical observation of the wound healing process, changes in wound condition, and postoperative animal responses. The results showed that the use of 0.9% NaCl solution in wound care was able to maintain wound moisture, reduce the risk of infection, and make the wound close again for 25 days. Supportive therapy such as antibiotics also contributed to the success of the treatment.
