Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemberian probiotik melalui pakan terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei). Metode yang digunakan yaitu ex post facto dengan tiga perlakuan, yaitu P1 (kontrol tanpa probiotik), P2 (penambahan probiotik 125 mL/L), dan P3 (penambahan probiotik 200 mL/L). Probiotik yang digunakan mengandung bakteri Bacillus sp. dan Lactobacillus sp. yang dicampur ke dalam pakan dan difermentasi selama 24 jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian probiotik melalui pakan memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan efisiensi pakan udang vaname. Perlakuan P3 menghasilkan performa terbaik untuk biomasa, LPH dan FCR dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Dosis probiotik 200 mL/L direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan pada skala budidaya komersial.; This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of probiotic&#13;
supplementation through feed on the growth and production of whiteleg shrimp&#13;
(Litopenaeus vannamei). The research employed an ex post facto method with&#13;
three treatments: P1 (control without probiotics), P2 (addition of 125 mL/L&#13;
probiotics), and P3 (addition of 200 mL/L probiotics). The probiotics used&#13;
contained Bacillus sp. and Lactobacillus sp., which were mixed into the feed and&#13;
fermented for 24 hours. The results showed that probiotic supplementation&#13;
through feed had a significant effect on the growth and feed efficiency of L.&#13;
vannamei. The P3 treatment produced the best performance in terms of biomass,&#13;
specific growth rate (SGR), and feed conversion ratio (FCR) compared to other&#13;
treatments. A probiotic dosage of 200 mL/L is recommended for application in&#13;
commercial, scale aquaculture.

Ikan manfish salah satu ikan hias yang banyak diminati oleh penghobi di&#13;
Indonesia, namun terdapat permasalahan yaitu infeksi fungi pada telur ikan manfish.&#13;
Penelitian terapan ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan bahan terbaik yang dapat&#13;
mengendalikan infeksi fungi pada telur ikan manfish. Penelitian ini menggunakan&#13;
Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari tiga perlakuan dan tiga ulangan&#13;
yaitu Kontrol (tanpa pemberian bahan), A (pemberian methylene blue 0,46 mL/L),&#13;
dan B (pemberian ekstrak ketapang 0,46 mL/L). Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa&#13;
pemberian ekstrak daun ketapang perlakuan B, menghasilkan nilai tertinggi pada&#13;
derajat pembuahan 91%, derajat penetasan 96%, dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup&#13;
79% dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya. Namun demikian, secara statistik&#13;
semua perlakuan tidak berbeda nyata (P&gt;0,05).&#13;
Kata kunci: ekstrak daun ketapang, methylene blue, fungi, ikan manfish; The manfish is one of the highly sought-after ornamental fish in Indonesia; however,&#13;
a problem with fungal infections in manfish eggs has been identified. This applied&#13;
research aims to identify the most effective materials for controlling fungal&#13;
infections in manfish eggs. The study employed a Completely Randomized Design&#13;
(CRD) comprising three treatments and three replications: Control (without&#13;
treatment), A (methylene blue at 0.46 mL/L), and B (ketapang leaf extract at 0.46&#13;
mL/L). The test material in this study was manfish eggs. Based on the research&#13;
results, the application of ketapang leaf extract yielded the highest values for&#13;
fertilization rate (91%), hatching rate (96%), and survival rate (79%), compared&#13;
to the other treatments. However, statistically, no significant differences were&#13;
observed among all treatments (P &gt; 0.05).&#13;

Ikan nila merupakan ikan komoditas air tawar yang banyak diminati masyarakat karena kualitas dan protein yang terkandung dalam ikan tersebut sangat besar, akan tetapi penanganan transportasi yang salah dalam proses pengiriman ikan dapat menyebabkan berkurangnya kualitas ikan tersebut. Hal tersebut dapat ditangani dengan penggunaan bahan aktif yang dapat meredakan stress pada ikan saat perjalanan dengan cara membuat ikan lemas dan bergerak perlahan sehingga akhirnya pingsan. Minyak atsiri pala memiliki bahan aktif yaitu Myristicin yang termasuk kedalam jenis alkohol sehingga dapat memiliki fungsi tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap dengan empat perlakuan A) Penggunaan minyak pala dengan dosis 0,8 ppm, B) Minyak paka dengan dosis 0,9 ppm, C) Minyak pala dengan dosis 1,1 ppm, D) Tanpa penambahan perlakuan, dan tiga kali ulangan. Hasil dari penelitian penggunaan minyak atsiri pada proses transportasi ikan adalah didapati bahwa perlakuan D mendapatkan SR paling tinggi sebanyak 80%, lama waktu pingsan paling lama 300 menit 50 detik, serta lama waktu sadar paling lama yaitu 70 menit. &#13;

Tilapia is a freshwater commodity fish that is in great demand by the public because the quality and protein contained in this fish is very large, however, incorrect transportation handling in the process of sending fish can cause a reduction in the quality of the fish. This can be handled by using active ingredients that can relieve stress on fish during travel by making the fish limp and move slowly so that they eventually faint. Nutmeg essential oil has an active ingredient, namely Myristicin, which is a type of alkohol so it can have this function. The study used a completely randomized design method with four treatments A) Using nutmeg oil at a dose of 0.8 ppm, B) Nutmeg oil at a dose of 0.9 ppm, C) Nutmeg oil at a dose of 1.1 ppm, D) Without additional treatment, and three repetitions. The results of research on the use of essential oils in the fish transportation process were that treatment D was superior in the highest SR parameter of 80%, the longest time of unconsciousness was 300 minutes 50 seconds, and the longest time of consciousness was 70 minutes.&#13;

Kepiting soka atau soft shell crabs merupakan krustacea jenis Scylla serrata yang bernilai ekonomi tinggi dan hidup di perairan payau. Kendala utama yang sering dihadapi dalam produksi kepiting soka adalah rendahnya frekuensi moulting. Salah satu bahan herbal yang berpotensi menstimulasi moulting adalah tanaman krokot, namun belum ditemukan dosis optimalnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan dosis optimal pemberian tanaman krokot (Portulaca oleracea) sebagai stimulasi moulting kepiting soka pada sistem apartemen Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan yang diuji meliputi P0 (Ikan selar kuning), P60 (ikan selar kuning + krokot 60 g kg-1 pakan), P70 (ikan &#13;
selar kuning + krokot 70 g kg-1 pakan), dan P80 (ikan selar kuning + krokot 80 g kg-1 pakan). Persentase moulting tertinggi diperoleh pada P70 sebesar 76,6% dan persentase terendah diperoleh pada P0 (kontrol) sebesar 36,6%. Tanaman krokot terbukti menginduksi kinerja moulting dan meningkatkan pertumbuhan kepiting soka. Dosis optimal tanaman krokot untuk menstimulasi moulting kepiting soka pada sistem apartemen adalah 70 g kg-1.; Soft-shell crabs (Scylla serrata) are crustaceans of the Scylla serrata species that have high economic value and live in brackish waters. The main obstacle often encountered in soft-shell crab production is the low frequency of moulting. One of the herbal ingredients that has the potential to stimulate moulting is purslane, but the optimal dose has not been found. This study aims to determine the optimal dose of purslane (Portulaca oleracea) as a moulting stimulant for soft-shell crabs in the Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) apartment system. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with four treatments and three replications. The treatments tested included P0 (yellow scad), P60 (yellow scad + purslane 60 g kg-1 feed), P70 (yellow scad + purslane 70 g kg-1 feed), and P80 (yellow scad + purslane 80 g kg-1 feed). The highest moulting percentage was obtained at P70 (76.6%), and the lowest percentage was obtained at P0 (control) (36.6%). Purslane plants were proven to induce moulting performance and increase the growth of soft-shelled crabs. The optimal dose of purslane plants to stimulate soft-shelled crab moulting in the apartment system was 70 g kg-1.
