dc.description.abstractAnalysis of residues of three organophosphoreus insecticides (diazinon, dimethoate and chlorpyrifos) and benzimidazole fungicides (benomyl and carbendazin) in three imported fruits (grape, apple and pear) was conductedted. The fruits were sampled from a supermarket and sidewalk vendors in Bogor. Residues of all pesticides studied could be detected in grape (diazinon= 0,0031 - 0,0032 mglkg, dimethoate = 0,0064 - 0,0095 mglkg, chlorpyrifos = 0,0055 - 0,0089 mglkg, benomyl = 0,1245 - 0,8214 mglkg, and carbendazim = 0,1503 - 0,2660 mglkg), appel (diazinon = 0,0008 - 0,0016 rnglkg, dimethoate = 0,0103 - 0,0533 mglkg, chlorpyriios = 0,0078 - 0,0133 mglkg, benomyl = 0,2178 - 1,2381 mglkg, and carbendazim = 0,2534 - 0,3352 mglkg), and pear (diazinon = 0,0019 - 0,0032 mglkg, dimethoate = 0,0048 - 0,0134 mglkg, chlorpyriios = 0,0020 - 0,0095 mglkg, benomyl = 1,0371 - 1,2308 mglkg, and carbendazim = 0,1007 - 0,4614 mglkg). The detected residue levels were much below the maximum residue limit of the respective pesticides applicable in Indonesia. Residues in supermarket fruits were lower than in sidewalk vendor fruits, except chlopyrifos in apple and carbendazim (a hydrolysis product of benomyl) in pear. The difference in resideu levels in fruits from the two sources was due to the property of pesticides, enviromental condition aand the vendor treatment.id
