dc.description.abstractNutmeg (Myristica fragrans Houtt.) is one of potential export commodities from Indonesia which has high economic value. Number of nutmeg production areas increase every year in several regions in Indonesia. Therefore, nutmeg contribute to raise national revenue and make Indonesia as the biggest nutmeg supplier in the world. One of the nutmeg producing areas in West Java is Bogor Regency. Some problems affecting the quality and quantity of nutmeg production are the too old age of nutmeg and infection of plant diseases. This research was done in Subdistrict Dramaga, Cijeruk and Leuwisadeng, Bogor Regency. The result of this study showed three important diseases that infect nutmeg plants. There were vein spot, dieback caused by Botryodiplodia theobromae, and fruit spots that has not identified yet.id
