dc.description.abstract | Oil palm plantation agroecosystem cannot be separated from ground vegetation around oil palm, which is usually considered as weed. Weed vegetation can become a habitat for several Hymenopteran parasitoid community. The objective of this study was to determine the diversity of Hymenoptera on weed vegetation in oil palm plantation. This study was carried out at Jongkong V, Arung Dalam, and Padang Mulya village, Central Bangka District, Bangka Island, from July 2014 until October 2015. Hymenopteran parasitoids was collected by sweep net and yellow pan trap on predetermined transec line with a length of 1000 m. Diversity of Hymenopteran parasitoids on weed vegetation in oil palm plantation was dominated by Scelionidae family. Ten highest abundant parasitoid families on weed vegetation in oil palm plantation were Scelionidae, Braconidae, Eulophidae, Ceraphronidae, Encyrtidae, Chalcididae, Diapriidae, Platygastridae, Pteromalidae, and Mymaridae. | id |
