Analisis Korelasi dan Analisis Lintas pada Dua Generasi Kacang Tanah
Abstract
Correlation and path analyses are used to determine the relationship between agronomic characters that are useful for developing effective selection criteria on peanut. The research was conducted in two experiments, the first was performed from August to December 2014 for F3 population and the second was conducted from February to May 2015 for F4 population at Leuwikopo experimental field of IPB,
Dramaga, Bogor (250 masl). Genetic materials used were 218 F3 and F4 families derived from five biparental populations (Jerapah/GWS79A1, GWS79A1/Zebra, GWS79A1/Jerapah, Zebra/ GWS79A1, and Zebra/GWS18) and 4 commercial varieties (Gajah, Jerapah, Sima, and Zebra) as checks. The results showed that there were differences among generations for the correlations between traits. Total dry weight
of pods have high direct and positive correlations with seed weight per plant in the two generations. Total number of pods have high indirect and positive correlations with seed weight per plant through total dry weight of pods character. These characters may be used as selection criteria for developing highyielding peanut varieties.
