dc.description.abstractStock is one of crusial problem in supermarket. Hipermarket Z as supermarket that supply various kinds of fish has not known the optimal of inventory control management for fish. Aims of the research are to know the condition of the fish supply management in Hipermarket Z, to determine inventory model that can minimize costs, to determine the frequency of ordering and the optimal of order quantity for fish. This research uses planning approach that started from observation. The objects of the research are vanamae shrimp and gurame. Based on the calculation of the inventory model with , the optimum order from January until February for vanamae shrimp and gurame are 10.01 kg/cycle and 11.72 kg/cycle. The optimum cycle time for vanamae shrimp is 1 day. The loss of risk can reduce Rp 629 021 for shrimp and Rp 1 316 442 for gurame.id
