dc.description.abstract | Deforestation or changes in the function from forest to non-forest ecosystems has been playing a role in the change of ecosystem and species in it. Soil fauna is one of is an interesting aspect to be studied. This experiment was conducted in Bungku, District Bajubang, Batanghari Regency, Jambi. Sampling technique using hand sorting method in fourth ecosystem. The fourth ecosystem mentioned is secondary forest (BF), jungle rubber (BJ), oil palm plantations (BO), and rubber plantations (BR). The results found there were 271 individuals are included in 43 familys, 19 orders from 7 class i.e. Insecta, Chilopoda, Collembola, Clitellata, Malacostraca, Arachnida, and Diplopoda, with 2 phylum i.e. Arthropoda and Annelida. Secondary forest is an ecosystem that relatively stable with the value of diversity index H '= 2.50, index of richness DMg = 5.05, and index of evenness E = 0.81. General distribution pattern on the four ecosystems is uniform, with Id value <1. The high diversity of soil macro-fauna was related with soil fertility. | id |
