Studi Potensi dan Penyebaran Ulin (Euxideroxylon zwagerii Teijsm. & Binnend.) pada Kawasan Lindung Areal IUPHHK-HT PT. Wana Hijau Pesaguan, Propinsi Kalimantan Barat.
Abstract
The rapid rate of deforestation and illegal logging in Indonesia led to the decreasing number of Ulin in Indonesia. The aim of this study is to examine the potential and deployment of Ulin trees (Euxideroxylon zwageri), as well as to determine the type of vegetation in habitats Ulin tree ( ) are useful in conservation efforts a protected plant in the area of PT. Green Pesaguan Wana, West Kalimantan. Technique sampling vegetation analysis in this study using a single plot measuring 100 m x 100 m with a number of sub-plots as much as 25 sub-plot with an area of 20 m x 20 m. Results from the analysis of data obtained species diversity index (H ') is highest ironwood on the right side of the river border region with a value H' is 4,820. Evenness index (E) in four locations including high because ranged from 0866 to 0919 and the highest evenness values obtained at the location of riparian right. Potential ironwood (Eusideroxylon zwageri) based on the largest volume in the area of germplasm protected areas is 16:40 m3 / ha. Total biomass ironwood obtained on the river banks right side of 0.77 tonnes / ha of total 310.72 tons / ha, the location of river banks left obtained biomass ironwood $ 3.10 tonnes / ha of 123.96 tonnes / ha, the location with a slope of more than 25% have a biomass Ironwood at 4:09 tonnes / ha of total 440.24 tons / ha, protected areas germplasm has the largest total biomass ironwood is 9:42 tonnes / ha of 213.55 tons / ha. Ironwood distribution pattern (Eusideroxylon zwageri) generally at the four study sites is to be equal to 1 (one), it is stated that the growth pattern of the spread of ironwood is random (random).
