Analisis Hubungan Faktor Teknis dan Watak Kewirausahaan dengan Kesuksesan Peternak Ayam Ras Pedaging di Kecamatan Pamijahan, Kabupaten Bogor

Abstract

The contribution of District Pamijahan for chicken supply in Bogor is the biggest one due to the large number of chicken population. Majority of the breeders run their business using a business partnership pattern to create better value than competing individually. In this pattern, both the company and the breeders should be working cooperatively. The company should ensure that the broiler farmers have an entrepreneurial characteritics to support the successful rate of this business. This study tried to look at the relationships between technical factors and entrepreneurial characters of broiler farmers influencing the success rate. And also tried to look at the relationship between entrepreneurial characters of broiler farmers influencing the business performance of broiler poultry. The results of Rank Spearman correlation analysis show that both the technical factors and entrepreneurial characters of broiler farmers had a significant correlation with the success rate. Then, the entrepreneurial characteristics such as leadership, risk takers, decision makers, and business planners could give an impact to business performance of broiler poultry in District Pamijahan.
