Analisis Kualitas Diet serta Hubungannya dengan Densitas Energi Konsumsi dan Pengetahuan Gizi Mahasiswa IPB
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze diet quality and its correlation with energy density consumption and nutritional knowledge of Bogor Agricultural University Students. The design of this study was cross sectional study with amount of subject were 40 Nutrition Community students and 40 Forest Management students from Bogor Agricultural University. The food consumption data was collected through Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Quesstionary (SQ-FFQ) and Recall 2 x 24 hours. There were 62.5% Nutrition Community students and 75% Forest Management students have low diet quality based on DQI-I (Diet Quality Index-International) score. The result of Pearson test showed that energy density consumption had negative correlation with diet quality (P<0.05), while there was not significant correlation between diet quality and nutritional knowledge based on Spearman test. There were positive correlation between diet quality and intake of energy, carbohydrate, dietary fiber, vitamin C, calcium, and iron based on Spearman test (p<0.05).
