Konsumsi Tempe, Tahu dan Kacang-kacangan pada Pria Dewasa di Indonesia
Abstract
The aim of this study to analyze the participation rate of consumption and the quantity of consumption of tempeh, tofu and legumes among Indonesians adults males aged 19-49 years. The data used are from the data of Riskesdas 2010 collected by the Agency of Health Research and Development Ministry of Health. The electronic files of food consumption data and socio-economic data of 49572 adult male subjects who fulfill the criteria. Subjects were grouped in two age groups 19-29 years and 30-49 years old. Food consumption data were collected using 24-hour recall method. Consumption of beans was categorized into 8 groups namely green bean porridge, peanut, bean and stringbean, soybean, tempe, oncom, tofu, and other beans. The participation rate is expressed as a percentage of subjects who consumed each food group; and the quantity of consumption of each type of beans is expressed in units of g/capita/day. The Analysis showed the consumption of bean among males was 49.9 ±32.2 g/capita/day among subjects who consumed. In the group of younger adults male (19-29 years) eating beans higher than an older age (30-49 years), respectively 49.9 ± 32.2 and 48.8 ± 30.8 g/capita/day. The consumption of beans percapita/day was lower than the quantity of animal food consumption. The participation rate of consumption of 8 group of beans, green bean porridge, peanut, bean and stringbean, soybean, tempe, oncom, tofu, and other beans were 0.9%, 4.3%, 1.0%, 0.4%, 58.2%, 0.5%, 32.9% and 1.4% respectively. The participation rate of tempe consumption was the highest among different types of beans. The participation rate of each beans was not different between the two age group of adult men. The quantity of consumption of tempe and tofu was 77.6 ± 47.9 and 84.6 ± 62.8 g/capita/day respectively, which is not much different between the two age groups of adults male.
