Plant parasitic nematode (PPN) is one of the main pest in golf course, especially at the area of “green”. Research is aimed to analyse the turfgrass parasitic nematode community was conducted in Bogor Raya Golf Club, Bogor - West Java. Soil and root samples were collected from infected greens, that were green number 3, 4, 8, and 15. Nematode extraction from soil samples were carried out by flotation-sentrifugation methode, while a mist chamber was used for root samples. Additonally, nematode inside the root was stained using fuchsin acid solution. The PPN number was counted by direct observation using stereoscopic microscope 40 x. PPN identification was based on the morphological characters using a compound microscope 100 – 400 x and an identification key according to Plant Parasitic Nematode: a Pictorial Key and Genera (May et al. 1996). Five genera of PPN, that were Criconemoides, Xiphinema, Helicotylenchus, Pratylenchus, and Hoplolaimus have been identified. The number of Pratylenchus, Xiphinema, and Hoplolaimus were higher in the infected green areas indicating that population of those nematodes were related to the disease incidence.en
