Analisis Dampak Pengembangan Wisata Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Terhadap Masyarakat Sekitar Kawasan

Abstract

Tourism development which show improvement from time by time, causes many effect which are caused by tourism activity. Native settlement people is one of object from effect caused by tourism activity. Tourism development which is done in Perkampungan Budaya Betawi area could gives some effect to native people, both positive or negative effect. The objective of this study are to identify native settlement people socialeconomic characteristic and perception to tourism object environment quality, estimate income and public income change caused by tourism development, analyze tourism development social and environment effect, estimate native’s WTP value to tourism object conservation, and analyze factor affecting WTP value. To answer this study’s objective, descriptive analysis, income changes, Contingent Valuation Method (CVM), and multi linear regression model method are used with SPSS 16 for windows, and Microsoft Excel 2010 as data analyzer software. Results show that public’s income and average income change estimation is about Rp 224.097,87/month. Income raises based by present value is Rp - 220.773,28/month. Largest average income raises is recieved by parking attendant group with Rp 503.750,00 income raises. Based by present value, average income raises parking attendant is Rp 162.277,73. Social effect evaluation appear from employees profession switches and working manpower caused by tourism development. The tourism development also changes people’s attitude and behaviour which are damaging the settlement such as exceeding settlement area and illegal building construction. Environment effect from tourism development is, litter contamination from tourism activity, and land function changes which causes disaster to conservation area such as flood and avalanche. Respondent’s average WTP values to tourism object environment conservation program is Rp 4.175,44/month for each household. Factors affect significantly to respondent’s WTP value are education degree, income rate, number of family member, years of living, and dummy variant respondent knowledge to Setu Babakan benefit and cost.
