Mineral is a substance that needed by living creatures for physiological process, divided into 2 category, micro mineral and macro mineral. Chemical composition and mineral content examined on fresh and boiled macro local barnacle flesh. Chemical composition known with proximate analysis, and mineral content determined by AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer). Chemical composition and mineral content on fresh local barnacle flesh is drastically decreasing after boiling process. The highest macro mineral content on local barnacle flesh is calcium in the amounf of 5808.85 ppm, and the lowest is natrium about 51.46 ppm, whereas the highest micro mineral is iron in the amount of 445.06 and the smallest is copper about 0.16 ppmen
