This study was conducted to determine the best temperature for production of neon tetra fish Paracheirodon innesi . The research consisted of four treatments i.e. 28 °C, 30 °C, 32 °C and room temperature with three replications. The Neon tetra fry was small size category, had average length of 1,16±0,06 cm and average weight of 0,05±0,01 g were produced by farmer from Cibeureum, Bogor, West Java. Neon tetra fry were reared in aquarium filled with 10 liters of fresh water. Period time of rearing was 28 days. The fry were fed at satiation with tubifex twice a day in the morning and evening. Water media exchanged was 30% of total volume every two days. The results showed that temperature affected the growth and survival of the neon tetra. The highest survival rate and growth was obtained at a temperature of 28 °C, however the highest profit was obtained at room temperatureen
