Evaluasi potensi agrowisata di Desa Alamendah, Kecamatan Rancabali, Kabupaten Bandung

Abstract

Region developing can cause land conversion, especially in agriculture land. The value of agriculture land can be increased by integrated usage with another related aspects such as art and local culture in agrotourism. Alamendah village has many agrotourism potencies from its nature and agriculture recources that can be developed. But, it had not been developed yet by the people, especially for local prosperity and environmental balances. The evaluation of agrotourism potency is needed with purpose to identify agrotourism potencies and former aspects, assess sustainability of community, evaluate agrotourism program and management, and make recommendation for agrotourism development. The research held in Alamendah Village, Rancabali Sub-district, Bandung district from February until July 2014 to get informations to be analyzed. Agrotourism aspects had been analyzed through agrotourism properness assessment, SWOT analysis, Community Sustainable Assessment (CSA) analysis, and preferences and perceptions analysis methods. Thus, from the analyze processes resulted the recommendation for agrotourism development at Alamendah village, such as the most suitable and potential areas for agrotourism development, potential view for agrotourism background and foreground, agrotourism development strategy, and agrotourism program and activity schedule. The final result proved that Alamendah village has a lot of potencies for agrotourism activity that can be developed with local people. The appropriate strategy to develop those potencies is make agrotourism activities and supporting tourisms being optimal for tourism activity to attract visitors, get much advantages and environment continuous.
