Manajemen Pemupukan Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) di PT. Perdana Inti Sawit Perkasa I, First Resources Ltd., Rokan Hulu, Riau

Abstract

Apprenticeship aims to increase knowledge about the cultivation of palm oil to obtain the work experience and skills on oil palm cultivation. Internship was conducted at Afdeling II PT. Perdana Inti Sawit Perkasa I, Sei Air Hitam Estate, First Resources Ltd., Riau Province in 10 February-10 June 2014. Internship activities included, work in the field as laborer, assisten as supervisor and field manager. Management of fertilization was analyzed base on four concep : proper in term of kind, proper in term of dosage, proper interm of time of application and proper in application technique. Secondary data were collected from literature and field division archives such as monthly and annuals reports, as well as documentation of the field. Generally fertilization in Sei Air Hitam Estate do not fully the of concept four proper fertilization. Work with good quality are needed to be incresed.
