| dc.description.abstract | Environment manipulation techniques are required to improve survival rate and growth of the fishes, one of the commonly used techniques is by chemical. The purpose of this research was to analyze the effectivity of peroxide hydrogen on water quality improvement as culture media and to determine the optimum concentration of peroxide hydrogen to maximize the production performance of Pangasius sp. 30 Pangasius sp. tanks with initial length of 2,72±0,03 cm and initial weight of 0,25±0,00 g were stocked into tanks with dimension of 0,29 x 0,19 x 0,17 m3 in 3 treatments and 3 replications. Fish were fed with commercial feed for 35 days and the growth response was observed. The results showed that the water quality after peroxide hydrogen 12 ppm addition in media was able to improve DO (dissolved oxygen) efficiency, decrease ammonium level and total aquatic bacteria (total plate count). The addition of peroxide hydrogen also gave good spesific growth rate respond to jouvenil Pangasius sp. | en |
