dc.description.abstract | Trend of healthy lifestyle is increasing in modern society. Healthy lifestyle becomes one of quality standards. One of the efforts to live a healthy lifestyle has been practised in Indonesia, including by introduce organic foods. Studies about organic food consumption in Indonesia are still limited. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with behavior of organic foods consumption among vegetarian in Bogor City. The method used in this study was cross sectional design with 42 vegetarians as study participants. The study was conducted in August until September 2014. Data were collected using questionnaire and Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ). The data analysis was performed using univariate analysis for frequency distributions, bivariate analysis for Chi Square test, and double logistic regression test with prediction model. The study results shout that factors related to organic food consumption behavior in vegetarian were age, gender, education, income, and knowledge (Pvalue < 0.05 ). Further more, the variables that were not associated in this study were the number of family member, job, and illness history. The most dominant factor was the income. | en |
