dc.description.abstract | Dukcweed has a potency as heavy metals (Cr and Pb) bioadsorbent. Treatment was established by varying adsorbent weight, pH, and contact time. Dry sample characterization by FTIR showing any functional groups which is responsible to its adsorption ability. Optimizing condition of Cr and Pb adsorption was done by using Central Composite Design involving 3 free variables and 2 coded level. Result showed that Cr adsorption tend to be affected by adsorbent weight and contact time while Pb adsorption tend to be affected by pH and contact time. The adsorptivity of Pb is larger than Cr. Both of those adsorption following Freundlich isotherm. | en |
