dc.description.abstractPollution is harmful for many living things not only for their who live in polluted area but also who live around there. Heavy metal is one of pollutant that will be accumulated to the organisms. Shrimp is one of valuable fish which accumulated heavy metal faster than the other animals. People who consume it will giving health acute effects. The objective of this research to count haevy metals content on the shrimp and waters habitat so we could find out the consumption feasibility status. this research using comparative method. Heavy metals content on the shrimp and waters habitat on the shrimp, will be compared to Maximum Limited Cd Contamination stated by SNI. The result of the research showing Pb, Cd and Hg Content on the shrimp are <0.03 mg/kg, 0.293-0.453 mg/kg, <0.001 mg/kg and on the waters are <0.03 mg/kg, <0,005 mg/kg, <0.001 mg/kg. This research showing the shrimp is still safe to consumption.en
