dc.description.abstractThis study aims to analyze the level of subjective well-being of father and factors that influence it, identify father perceptions about secondary education, identify money investment and time investment for the child's on the migrant worker family, and analyze the influence of subjective well-being of father and the father's perception of secondary education to child investment. The sample of this study is migrant workers family who have children with age 12-14 years old. There are 60 families that were selected purposively. The level of subjective wellbeing of father, father perception about secondary education are moderate category. Money investment are low category. Allocation of children's education cost is about 12,57 percent or Rp 243.700 per month. The time Investment of father for the child is low. The results showed that the mother's income, living conditions, and the togetherness of fathers and the children will increase subjective well-being of father. Father’s education and mother's revenue will increase educational facilities and the cost allocation of children's education. Subjective well-being of fahter that good will increase the awareness of the father's to spend the time with the children.en
